Nikki walked into the locker room and saw Colby sitting down, "Hey. You doing better?"
He shrugged, "I guess. Since I told you my deep, dark secret, you got anything you want to come clean about?"
She shook her head a bit too quickly, "No, nothing."
"Really? You were a bit too quick to answer, it's not something bad is it?"
She rolled her eyes, "I told you, there's nothing.''
Colby grinned, "Really? I won't tell, promise."
She just turned and opened her locker.
He stood up, "Is it a crush?"
At her silence, he continued, "Is it Don, David, Charlie?"
Liz walked in at this point, "How about you just leave her alone Granger? She's not responding." She turned to Nikki, "Ready to go?"
Nikki smiled gratefully at her, "Ya, just give me a second. And who says it's a crush Granger? You never guessed the most obvious one, an office romance."
He looked at her, ''Okay, is it David? Or that new guy that transferred in?" He finally noticed their dressy outfits, "Where are you two going?"
Liz shrugged, "Dinner date."
Nikki walked up, "Let's go."
Liz looked her over, "Nice outfit."
The comment made her blush and whisper something into Liz's ear, then she waved to Colby and walked out.
Liz looked at Nikki leaving and then turned to him, "Here's a hint Colby, who says the office romance has to be with a guy?"
She gave him a wave and walked out.
Nikki was waiting for her by the car, "Think he'll realize it?"
Liz shrugged, "Maybe, maybe not, but you were right about one thing."
Nikki raised an eyebrow, "What's that?"
Liz smiled at her girlfriend, "I am definitely going to enjoy seeing you out of that."
Nikki grinned and they got in the car.
As Colby heard the car engine, he finally realized what they meant, Nikki and Liz were dating.
