(253): I just folded my boss's lingerie. I need a drink and a raise.

Darcy sighed as she dropped her purse by the door. She groaned as she slipped out of her pinchy black pumps and suit jacket and stumbled into the kitchen. Pulling a pint of Ben and Jerry's Bohemian Raspberry out of the freezer and a spoon out of the drawer, she made her way to the living room.

"Sup, Darce?" came the voice of Stormy from one of the chairs flanking the couch, munching on a bag of some cheesy, disgusting poor excuse for a snack that Darcy didn't bother to remember the name of. In reply, she just groaned and flopped onto her stomach on the couch's comforting felt and burrowed into it, ice cream still in hand, thankful to have the entire couch to herself. Icy sat on the chair on the other side, a plate of celery sticks and a little cup of ranch dressing in her hand.

"Rough day at work?" she asked her roommate noncommittally.

"One of you drag your butts to the DVD player and pop in Pride and Prejudice," Darcy said, using her spoon to pry the lid off her ice cream, answering Icy's question. Stormy set down her bag and did as she was (sort of) asked.

"I don't see why you like these stupid romance movies," Stormy said, eyeing the cover as she slid the DVD in with her other hand. "You should watch more action or comedies instead. Ever seen the Rush Hour movies?"

"Yes, I have. And though they were funny, they weren't satisfying. They had no real depth."

"That's because they're comedies, you fucking stick in the mud."

"Just shut up and press play."

And that's it for this drabble. Not bad, huh? Just so you know, I haven't watched Winx Club in a really really really long time so chances are they're going to be OOC. Meh. More drabbles to come so look forward to it! (Might be a while before I update, though, since I've got homework over the summer. Bleh.)
