Memory Loss

Isabelle slammed Jace into the wall and held a dagger to his throat.
"Don't kill each other," Alec said from where he was sitting on the couch, reading his book.
"Don't worry," Jace said, bringing foot up to kick Izzy in the stomach, "She won't."
"No, I'll just bring you to near death you stupid Nephim," Izzy yelled, before launching herself at Jace, knocking him to the floor.
They struggled for a couple minutes before Izzy gained the upper hand.
"Haha," She laughed, "I win."
"So you think," Jace said, mischievously before swinging his sword hilt at her head.
Izzy seemed to be frozen in fear as the sword hilt came closer and closer to her head. The sword hilt hit her head with a heavy thunk and she slunk to the ground and looked lifeless except for her labored breathing.
"What in the world have you done to her?" Alec yelled, jumping up from the couch.
"I don't know! The sword didn't hit her that hard!"
Alec knelt by her and started checking her pulse. At this Izzy woke up and sat up yelling, "What are you doing?"
"Hey, Izzy it's ok. It's just us." Alec said in a calming tone.
"Who's Izzy? Who are you?"
Jace looked at Alec with worry written on his face. Alec shrugged, the same worry written on his face. Izzy scooted over to the wall and curled up in the corner while Jace and Alec talked in gushed tones so as to not startle her.
"We have to do something,"
"I know that Jace, I'm thinking."
"Well think faster."
"Hey everyone!" Simon yelled, bursting into the room.
Jace groaned, "Oh great. It's the mundane."
"Oh shut up Jace and help me with Izzy," Alec said.
"What happened to Izzy?" Simon asked.
"Jace hit her on the head and she lost her memories" Alec explained.
"What?" Simon yelled, outraged.
"Yes, yes; could you kill me after we try to help Izzy get her memory back?" Jace said angrily.
"My memory is fine!" Izzy yelled.
They looked over at her and saw that she had made her way over to the couch while they were arguing.
"Same old Izzy," Alec muttered, chuckling.
"Well maybe," Simon said, deep in thought, "We could find something about memory losses in one of these books," he gestured to the bookshelves over Izzy's head.
"I don't know, maybe you should go check." Jace said sarcastically.
"Very funny, maybe you should go get Magnus," Simon retorted as he went to the couch where Izzy was and stood on it.
"Fine," Jace said over his shoulder as he left.
"Idiot," Simon muttered as he and Alec looked for a book on memory losses.
"Here," Simon finally said, tugging down a heavy book the size of a dictionary. As he tried to open it the book it slipped out of his hands and, before he could catch it, hit Izzy on the head with a loud THUNK.
"OWWW!" she yelled, covering her head with her hands.
"I'm all right, you don't have to hit me on the head," she said, rubbing a bump on her head.
"Izzy!" Alec yelled before running over and giving her a fierce hug.
"Jeez Alec. You're acting as though you haven't seen me in years."
"You just lost your memories!"
"I did?"
"You don't remember?"
"Nope, but I do remember Jace hitting me on the head with his sword. Now where is he? I am going to kill him!"
With that she stormed out of the room looking for him.
Simon and Alec shared a look but then with a shrug Simon followed her out the door with Alec at his heels.
