Hello readers! This is just a short crossover moment that popped into my head. I don't own anything. Enjoy! Sincerely, madlibs44.

Ratchet narrowed his optics at the small organic creature sitting on the railing, staring up at him. Its owner looked nervously between the creature, the medic, and the now sparking computer terminal. Jack, Miko, and Raf sighed and anticipated the coming outburst from where they sat on the couch.

"I needed that!" the medic half growled, half whined. The little creature just blinked back at him.

"Pika?"

The emergency vehicle groaned and turned back towards the damaged computer. Grumbling, he pried open a side panel to look at the fried circuitry. Ash Ketchum sheepishly scratched his head and muttered a quiet "sorry" that Ratchet chose to ignore. Ratchet's muffled yet angry voice drifted up to the loft.

"I am trying to find a way to send you back to your home dimension: a delicate process that was just delayed by that pit-spawned, organic sparkplug!"

"Ratchet."

Optimus' stern voice caused Ratchet to cease in his ranting. Nonetheless, the medic continued muttering angrily to himself as he worked to fix the computer, which he needed to perform the complicated equations required to reformat the groundbridge for inter-dimensional travel. The Autobot leader turned to their newest but temporary human charge.

"Are you certain that you were the only one pulled through the dimensional rift?" he asked. He watched as the small yellow mouse climbed onto his master's shoulder and rubbed his cheek affectionately.

The young man nodded, "Yes, sir. Everyone else had been blown back before Palkia opened the rift. I was the only one close enough to be affected."

"Aha!" Ratchet's exclaimed victoriously and stood up, making a show of dusting himself off. With a satisfied smirk he turned the computer back on. Before completely devoting himself to the work ahead of him, he took a moment to look down at the human boy. "Now go show your Pokemon to the others where my equipment will not become collateral damage: in the training room."

"Yes sir!"

"Pikachu!"

The boy and his electric mouse both saluted the medic before following the other children further into the base. Ratchet watched them go with a slight frown before redirecting his attention to the impossible task of inter-dimensional travel. Optimus gave his medic a long, hard look before turning to follow the humans.

"I would appreciate a detailed record of the creatures' abilities… If possible… For academic reasons."

The Autobot leader let show a small smile and nodded back to his medic, then disappeared around the corner.

Ratchet sighed and looked longingly towards the training room, where excited voices could already be heard. The look of longing quickly turned to one of annoyance as a small explosion shook the base. With a grumble the medic turned back to the task at hand.

"Good riddance."

Please review! I apologize to any readers waiting for me to update "May Cause Dizziness." Inspiration has been slow coming and I've been caught up with graduate school applications. I do have the next chapter in the works though! Until next time!
