Hi! This is basically when Bella first sets her sights on the Cullen's and I had this idea which I thought was hilarious, but hey that's me! I guess its not very original but you might like it. Well on with the read and enjoy...
"Which one is the boy with the reddish brown hair?" I asked.
I peeked at him from the corner of my eye, and he was still staring at me, but not gawking like the other students had today – he had a slightly frustrated expression. I looked down again.
"That's Edward, he's gorgeous of course, but don't waste your time. He doesn't date. Apparently none of the girls are good-looking enough for him." she sniffed, a clear case of sour grapes. I wondered when he'd turned her down.
I bit my lip to hide my smile. Then I glanced at him again. His face was turned away, but I thought his cheek appeared lifted, as if he was smiling, too. I turned back to Jessica who was now scowling at the table.
"Maybe he's gay?" I suggested.
Jessica looked up from scowling at the table and gave me a look that said Are-You-Freaking-Mad!? I furrowed my eyebrows and was about to object when this strange high pitch sort of squeaky type sound came from across the cafeteria. It was almost as if someone was strangling a cat. I spun around in my seat to find the odd noise was coming from none other than the Greek god, Edward Cullen. He was choking. This was followed by a very loud bellowing, throaty laugh by the other god like person sitting across from him. Due to his size, almost bear like, and the fact that he was laughing so hard you could see the table shaking from over here.
I turned back to stare at my own table, the rest of the school still gawking at the godly creatures. At least they were no longer staring at me! I was frustrated, something was niggling at me, it almost seemed as if they had heard what I'd said...
