Elizabeth rushed to the infamous Phantomhive manor as soon as she received that dreaded letter. That letter she received was a lie, it couldn't possibly be true. Ciel had died? It couldn't be possible. She had just danced with him a few days earlier. How could someone die so soon? As soon as she reached the manor, she rushed out of her carriage. Elizabeth ran up to the Phantomhive doors and pushed them open. A crazed look in her emerald eyes.
"Ciel? Are you here?" She shouted throughout the manor.
To no avail, it remained empty, not a sound to be heard. Elizabeth ran up the grand steps to her fiancée's office. She opened that door wide open, out of breath.
"Ciel? Are you in here?" The young girl cried out. Her hope filled green eyes looked at the infamous desk where he always worked, empty. Elizabeth went to the window and peered outside, hoping to find him in the garden. Alas, he was not there either. Elizabeth could hardly stand anymore, her legs gave out as she collapsed to the floor. Tears began to fall down her fair face. She wiped her eyes, hoping to stop the stream of tears. She soon began to realize that it really was true. He really was gone.
She'd never get to be with him again. She'd never see his smile. She'd never hear his laugh. She'd never hear his voice. She'd never get another dance. She'd never get to see him ever again. Her future with him, crumbled before her eyes and she couldn't do anything to stop it from happening. All the memories they had together crashed over her like a wave of pain instead of happiness. Elizabeth continued to cry out for her fiancée, the one who would never return to her again.
