My Version of the 'Camp Rock' Scene when Shane sings 'I gotta find you' to Mitchie
From Mitchie's point of view
"I gotta find you." Shane's last verse of the song came out of his mouth. His voice was so pure. Mitchie could tell that he put so much work into this song. It meant a lot to him.
"Wow" Mitchie said simply. He smiled.
"I heard this girl singing, and it kinda reminded me of the music that I liked. So I started playing around with some chords and… I know it's not finished but-" he was being way too modest. So Mitchie cut him off.
"No… No it's good. It's really good. And I don't lie." Mitchie told him, grinning in her last words.
Shane grinned back, but gave her the most amazing look anyone had ever given to Mitchie. He was so beautiful. And Shane Grey was giving the boring old Mitchie Torres a look he didn't give anyone else. His smile sent shivers down her spine.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Mitchie asked a little embarrassed. Her hair seemed to be covering her face, so she moved it.
"I dunno. You seem different."
There it is. Different. Mitchie knew that word described her. But it seemed that Shane could read her mind.
"Good. Different." He smiled.
"Ah… definitely… different." Mitchie said as she tilted her head. Then he gave her that look again. That beautiful, pop-star smile. Mitchie wasn't even sure he was meaning to. She thought about getting up and walking back to the kitchen, but something was keeping her with Shane. He looked her up and down, and leaned in. Mitchie couldn't help but do the same. When their lips met, it seemed like nothing mattered anymore; except Shane.
Mitchie had just met him, and she was already completely in love. Shane obviously knew what he was doing, because he made the kiss deeper. He pulled her closer and tightened his grip on her waist. Oh my god I'm kissing Shane Grey… Mitchie thought. But she didn't care.
She slid her arms around his neck and kept kissing him. After who knows how long, they broke apart. Shane looked at her, and grinned. They both stood up.
"I uh… should probably go…" Mitchie said unwillingly. Shane smiled again. It was like he knew what she was thinking. So he handed her the box of chips.
"I'll see ya later?" he asked hopefully. Mitchie grinned and nodded slowly.
He kissed her on the cheek and walked away. Mitchie stood there for a minute, until she realized she had to go to the kitchen.
Once she got there, she put on her apron and put her arm around her mom's shoulder. "Hey Mom! How ya doing?!" Mitchie asked smiling from ear to ear. Connie Torres looked at her funny.
"I'm good how are you?"
"I'm great, I'm fantastic, I'm-"
"-putting chips into bowls?"
"Right…"
Mitchie walked away still smiling. She and Shane Grey were an item.
