"Dori, what are you doing...?" I asked. Dori, my roommate, was looking at me with a pouting expression. "I wanna go," she said. "Dori," I closed the book that I have been trying to read for the past hour, "I already told you, I'm not going to any parties this weekend."

She looked at me, her greenish-blue eyes glaring at me, brown bangs falling in her face and hair falling over her shoulders. Dori was a childish kind of girl. She is very innocent and very kawaii to most people, though she is mostly a little devil. Unfortunately, she is also very persistent. She is known as the state of Alaska, which means she is Alfred's little sister. "You've been reading non-stop for the past few days! It time for a reward." She crossed her arms over her chest. "Besides, your boyfriend will be there. And Gilbert! So you have to go!"

I blushed at that and shook my head. Dori pouted even more.

"Oi, Dori, leave her be," Alana, my other roommate, walked into the room. Alana has dark red hair, which was worn in two short pigtails at her shoulders, and pinkish eyes. She is the kind who often gets angry a lot of times, especially with Dori. She is kind of intimidating when you meet her, but once you get to know her, shes pretty cool.

Dori's mood changed instantly, turning into one of a innocent child asking the other parent for a candy bar or toy. She looked at her with puppy eyes, "But Alana!" "No buts, Dori. Can't you see she's trying to study?" "Alana!" Dori threw herself at her, landing at her feet, "Please! Everyone will be there! We will be the only ones not going! C'mon please!" Alana looked down at her, "You can go if you want. I was planning on going anyways."

"You? But you never go to parties unless..." I said, knowing fully that she only went if she knew Ludwig, her crush, was there. Alana blushed and crossed her arms, "Don't complete that sentence." Dori looked at her and did a cat-smirk. "Oooooooh Alana! So your special little "friend's" gonna be there?" "Shut up, Dori. But," Alana turned and looked at me, "just imagine, May, sitting here all alone, you can be partying and having fun. But instead, you are here on a Saturday night, the only entertainment being the book in front of you..." Alana said, small little grin creeping onto her face.

"Oi! And when you can see Francis!" Dori said! "We could have fun! I get to see Gilbert, Alana gets to see lover-boy," Alana glared daggers at her, "and we could dress up and dance and..." She kept rambling on until I finally said, "Okay, okay, I'll go."

Dori spun around with a huge smile on her face and tackled me into a hug. "Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I thought I was going to die from suffocation. Alana pulled her off of me. "Calm down!" Dori ran out of the room, probably going to choose out outfits and heat up her curling iron. I sighed.

"May!" Dori ran back into the room and grabbed my hand, pulling me off the bed. "Omph!" I stumbled up before I was pulled by Dori into the bathroom. "Slow down!"

"Never! We got to hurry!" I sighed, wishing that I would have just stayed home.
