"…saw a hobo…"

Young Freddie walked out, and saw the hobo. He thought about turning back and running. But no, that would be cowardly, he was…kinda brave. Besides, the hobo wasn't looking. He walked around…and, freedom!

Freddie went to the mall first, and just looked around. It was night out, and it was mostly teenagers, teenagers a lot older than him.

Ok, he was a little scared; there was a rumble, and hunger. Freddie checked his pockets.

"Golly, no cash!" he muttered, which earned him a few odd looks.

"FREDDIE!" He turned around, and saw the last person he expected…this soon anyways.

"Mom?" His mother hugged him tightly. How did she...his thoughts were cut off as she spoke.

"Don't you dare do that again!" He nodded, afraid of her angry. She hugged him again, and they went home…her always holding his hand and looking back at him to make sure he was still there.

He wondered, until he learned of the chip, about how his mother found him.

And he lied about the hobo…he didn't want to be made fun of for thinking his mother had some sort of magical powers.
