I'm not dead yet. Just very inactive and extremely lazy. XD Forgive me!!
Disclaimer: I do not own Eyeshield 21 (I don't want to, anyway. Cuz its not knowing what's gonna happen next that makes is so interesting D) It belongs now and forever to the great Inagaki Riichiro and the magnificient Murata Yusuke.
Mamori entered the room quietly, closing the door with a muffled 'click'. Hiruma lay on his front on the bed with his feet dangling off and one hand still on his gun. She walked over and carefully pulled his shoes off, removing the gun and leaning it against a wall.
She glanced out the window, where bright lights flickered and shone like miniature suns and sounds of the city could be heard. She pulled the curtains shut and both the lights and noise were effectively blocked out.
Mamori laid a blanket on his sleeping form and walked around the bed, leaning over and gazing at his face. Only when he was asleep did his face look serene, and Mamori was compelled to push aside the strands of hair sticking to his face, placing her hand on his sweaty forehead.
His skin was so hot against hers.
She started pulling her away when Hiruma's hand reached up and rested over hers, holding it to his head. "Stay." His eyes remained shut through it all. Mamori sat on the bed with a soft sigh, instinctively stroking his skin with her thumb.
His hand was burned hers.
Some time later, when Hiruma was breathing deeply in a steady rhythm, Mamori withdrew her hand and smiled, pulling the blanket up to his shoulders and placing a gentle kiss on his cooling temple. Then, having second thoughts, she grinned to herself and inched under the blanket facing Hiruma. Her body fitted comfortably against his and she sighed, closing her eyes.
She awoke early the next day to find herself alone. There was the sound of splashing water from the bathroom and she propped herself up on her elbows to see Hiruma coming out.
He stared at her for a few moments before approaching, "None of this ever happened," he stated matter-of-factly, before grabbing his gun and opening the door. Then, he glanced back at her, "Are you coming or not?"
She smiled and went up to join him.
Yeah... I know it's pretty short, but that's all that came to me (and you just HAD to write it, didn't you? I wish YOU were dead...). Hope you enjoyed what little I brought to you, R&R please and TQ!
