Hello Fans of Death Note:

This is SpidermanAndMLPlover14. If you are like me, you fell in love with this remarkable series (I'm still in love with L). However...let's be honest, there were some holes in the series. And now it is time for me, SpidermanAndMLPlover14, to rewrite the Death Note Saga so that all fans can truly be satisfied. Hollywood, take note, it's not too late to publish my account.

Death Note Rewrite #1 Flashback of L's Life

This is seriously needed in the Death Note Saga. L is simply too fascinating a figure for the audience to not know more about the man. How did he become eccentric? How did he become a lone wolf? How did he become a genius? From where did he obtain his sense of justice, even to the point where he is willing to lay down his life for the greater good?

The following flashbacks MUST be interwoven into the Anime series and hopefully into the Major Motion Picture that we are all expecting. Perhaps even in the OVA anniversary edition.

Flashback 1 (and of course the L Theme song-the very sad one played during Light's death) should be here instead...

L's parents were both professors at Cambridge University in England. They were finding cures for horrific and deadly viruses. They were able to make breakthroughs but were tragically killed by thugs working for billionaire pharmaceutical companies that wanted full control. L's parents wanted the vaccines they were developing to be given for free, especially to underdeveloped countries. The pharmaceutical company did not see it that way. L's parents were suspicious. They had prepared a plan of contingency: if anything were to happen to them, Watari, their trusted friend, was to take guardianship of L. It was a dark night when the gunshots and screams were heard in the Lawliet household. L, only five years old and already precocious, was hidden in a secret chamber. The call went out before his parents' death. When Wateri arrived at the home in Cambridge, he was frightened and saddened to see L's parents lying on the floor, dead. He then searched for the shivering L, who was hunched in a ball, dressed in pajamas, within a secret room. Watari picked up the scared boy with the large brown eyes and hugged him. He then took him to a safe place, a special orphanage that was designed for children of prominent people who had dedicated their lives to goodness and justice but understood that they were battling powerful forces of evil and therefore their lives were constantly in danger. This was the agreement Watari had with so many good, loving parents. Being prominent and gifted, it was only natural that their offspring would be as well. Watari would make sure that they grew up using their skills to benefit mankind and to make the world a better place.

To be continued...
