Why today? Why did she have to feel sick today? Today was the most important day at All Saints hospital, why, why, why today? Charlotte finally got out of bed, moaning and groaning making her way to the shower. Headaches, stomach cramps, nausea, temperatures, this was not fair, but she just had to live with it. She stood in the shower not moving or speaking, her heart was beating too fast, she was having trouble breathing, her nerves were so sensitive, she could feel every water bead fall and run down her body. She got out of the shower, wrapped a soft towel around her body. Charlotte walked over to the mirror, and with a hand wiped the moist mist away so she could see herself. Something was wrong, it didn't feel like a virus or the flu, it was something else, but she couldn't pin down what it was.
She got dressed into a nice pair of black trousers and a white long sleeved top, and then made her way to Zac's room. Zac, the most important person in the world. He was her pride and joy. Charlotte looked behind her shoulder to look at the clock. She was late, again.
Droppin Zac off at her sister's, she then carried on to work. The headaches were getting worse, but she couldn't call in sick today, she had to do a speech on rare medical cases throughout history. She had prepared everything so well, all her time and effort had gone into the speech.
Charlotte arrived at All Saints, walked through the doors, and as usual Frank was the first person to greet her in his own way. "Why the bloody hell are you late, your speech is in an hour?" he took a second look at her. "Beaumont are you alright?"
She tried to look a bit perkier, nodded her head and walked over to reception. As she sat down Charlotte started to feel worse, now her head was spinning even more.
Gabrielle walked over to her noticing Charlotte closing her eyes and rubbing her temples. "Charlotte? Are you ok, you look very pale?" Gabrielle rubbed Charlotte's back trying to comfort her.
"I'm fine," she sounded so exhausted.
"Maybe you should have a lie down," Gabrielle insisted.
"I said I'm fine!" Charlotte lashed out; she got up off her chair and walked to the tea room.
Charlotte stood over the sink. This was unbearable, her body radiated with pain. She turned the taps on and splashed some cold water on her face. Then something distracted her, her reflection in the window, her eyes, her eyes were turning bright green.
"Oh no," she whispered under her breath, but how could this be happening Crichton said that the image stimulator would last for at least fifty years at the most. Unless, unless they mixed the dosages up, that must be it.
She took another look at her reflection, Charlotte gasped at the sight, and her hair was starting to turn bright red. How was she going to get out of this? First she was Joolushko Tunai Fenta Hovalis, then she took the image stimulator so she could go to earth and look like a human, then she changes her appearance to a fifteen year old and changes her name to Charlotte. Once she gets to earth, she's sent to an orphanage, then adopted by the Beaumont family. She get's a degree to be a doctor, then get's a job at All Saints hospital and after all that hassle the image stimulator starts to wear off!
Amy entered the tea room and saw someone with bright red curly hair.
"Umm can I help you?"
Charlotte or should we say Jool turned around. Some of Charlotte's features were still there but everything else was taken over by the bright green eyes and bright red curly hair.
"Charlotte?" Amy gasped.
Jool couldn't stand up any longer; she collapsed to the cold ground.
