"In hear" called Robin the team where searching in an old warehouse for a child that was meant to be in hear they had been captured by the joker and was being held in hear. "Hello?" called wonder girl
"In hear" came a small voice
"We are coming, stay where you are" shouted blue beetle
As they entered the small dark room they saw a figure on a chair in the corner. Jamie ran over
"Hello little boy…." He stopped
"What is it, is he dead?" aqua lad asked
"n-no" strutted Jamie
"What is it?" Conner asked impatiently
"It's a girl" Jamie said quietly
"No it's not let me have a look" Conner said as he walked over to where Jamie was standing and there was a girl with ice blue eyes and blonde hair witch had obviously been hacked off by someone.
"Hello um…." Conner could not find a good way to finish
"Little bit of help" said the girl trying to free herself from the chains she was in
"It's ok don't move" said aqua lad
"So I see you are trying to free Ariel there is another girl in the other room if you want her" said a voice
The team spun around to find the joker smiling at them
"Ahhhhh" said Bart who was trying to cut Arial free with his knife. It slipped and went into Arils arm
"Yuck blood" Ariel exclaimed
"Are you ok?" asked Bart "well I know you are kind of not seeing as blood is pouring out your arm but still "he finished
"Yeah I think I feel kind of dizzy" she said
"Probably because you have lost so much blood" wonder girl said
"Yeah probably" Arial said and collapsed
"Ok Conner Jamie and Bart you stay with Ariel and we will go and save the other girl then we will come back and try and help you free her if you have not already" Robin commanded
The rest of the team left to look for the other girl.
"Conner free her" Bart said
"Why me?" Conner asked
"Because you are the strongest" Jamie said
"But the blood" Conner said looking at Ariel's arm which still had blood pouring out of it
"I was going to ask if we needed to inject her to get a blood sample but maybe not" Bart said
"Jamie what are you doing?" Conner said noticing Jamie putting something that looked a bit like a needle into her arm
"Um…it says hear that her blood is running low and that she has 20 minutes to live" Jamie said
"So Conner get moving" Bart shouted
"You will never save her in time" came the cruel voice of the joker
"Watch us" Conner said angrily and with that he pulled the chains with as much force as he could and they fell to the floor
"Bart grab some blood and put it in hear" Jamie said throwing a test tube at Bart
"Ok" Bart said grabbing some blood and sprinting past the joker who was in the door way
"Conner take Ariel and get her to the infirmary NOW" Jamie said
"Ok ok I am going" Conner said as he picked up Ariel and slung her over his shoulder and headed for the door.
"Oh no you don't" said the joker stepping in front of Conner blocking his way
"Move" growled Conner
"No you are not going anywhere with Ariel" the joker smiled
"5 minutes Conner" Jamie said
"Till what" Conner said confused
"An till she dies" Said Jamie "now get moving"
"I can't he is in my way" Conner said pointing at the joker
"Punch him for crying out loud you have super strength remember!"
"Oh, yeah I forgot that" Conner said and punched the joker in the face
"Ow!" the joker said as blood poured from his nose and onto his white chin
"Conner run!" Jamie shouted
