And there she was again. That girl that took the breath away from me the first time I saw her walk through the door. With her long, black hair and her bright, green eyes, that see straight through you, like they could read you like a open book.

Today she was wearing her green-y blue highlights, a purple and black tank top and a dark gray unbuttoned shirt on top. Black, skinny jeans hugged her legs and big heavy combat boots covered her feet. She was wearing a golden necklace that hang in middle of her cleavage.

She pulled her eyes up when she noticed I was looking and I hid behind the coffee machine. I saw her walk towards the counter and my heartbeat started to pick up. She always came here, since I started working a few months ago. Sometimes she came with a group of friends and at first I saw her come a lot with a dark-haired guy. He was cute, why should I deny it? Even though I don't like guys. And they looked like a couple.

But after a few weeks they stopped coming together, and one night, Jade (I know her name 'cause I've gotta write it on the cup when she buys it to go, don't judge me.) stomped in when we were closing, asked for her coffee and sat in the back, looking really wazzed of. And after a while, she stormed of like she came, but this time with tears in her eyes.

That night I couldn't sleep, the image of those beautiful eyes full of tears ripped my heart.

Since then she came every day, asked for her coffe and sat in the booth next to the window, reading a book, writting on her laptop or just sitting there, relaxing, looking at the dark night sky.

She stoped at the counter and smiled at me.

"All your's, Tori." I heared Andre say at my back. I elbowed him lightly on the side and he pouted, playfully.

"Black with two sugars." I said, grining. She laughed, turned around and went to sit in her table.

I wached her walk towards the booth where she always sat, that was occupied by a tall guy. He was wearing big, square glasses and a wool hat. (We were in August) Jade sat down and stared at the dude, that lifted his eyes from the black IPear laptop and stared back, looking uncomfortable.

Jade kept on staring. I saw her cross her arms over her chest and open her eyes, looking like she was going to make him swallow that laptop. The hipster started to sweat. After a few seconds, he grabbed the computer and stormed out the room, taking his frappuccino with him.

The goth smiled that sexy grin and sat down where the guy was before.

She used to come late, and it was dark outside. My co-workers were already cleaning when I started making the coffee. I reached for Jade's favourite mug. She always smiled when she saw the scissors that decorated it.

I sighted, grabbing a muffin and walking towards her table. I put it down and she looked up from the window, frowning when she saw the extra piece of pastrie. She opened her mouth to say something, but I cuted her.

"It's on me." I said, smiling. She smiled back and bited into the muffin.

I started walking away, but her voice stoped me.

"You don't look too busy." She said, and I turned around. "Would you like to talk for a while?"

Little drabble. Hope you guys like it.

Edit: I was reading the reviews (FIVE FREAKING REVIEWS IN LESS THAN 24H! Guys, I love you.) And a reader (T0ran) pointed out that "Might have been even better if it alluded more to the more abrasive aspects of Jade's personality" so I've done it. It's first time I change something like this on a fic, so thank you, T0ran, for pointing that out.

And thank the rest of you for the reviews. Hope you like the one-shot!
