Hey everyone, this is a bunch of my drabbles made up from the series three challenge at the heart of Camelot site where you take a word and use it in a drabble. The below is my very first drabble I ever made :) hope you enjoy it. My thoughts and prayers with those families affected by the Boston incident. maybe this might make you laugh in the dark times.

It was just another day the knights had finished training and Gwen was on her way to Arthur's chambers when she heard noises coming from behind the door.
"Merlin what are you doing that hurts "
"Sorry Sire, but it would help if you stopped squirming "
"I would hold still if you were gentler "
"I'm trying to be as gentle as I can it's not that easy "
"Hurray up Merlin, pull it out already Gwen will be here soon "
"I'm trying Arthur but it's stuck "
"OWWWWW" Arthur yelled loudly
Merlin gave a loud sigh of relief "There got it" he beamed
"Finally, it took you long enough! Now get out and go muck out the stables "
"Ungrateful prat "Merlin mumbled as he opened the door into the corridor.
"Merlin is Arthur alright?" Gwen called not sure if she really wanted to know the answer.
Merlin turned and greeted her with a large lopsided grin "Oh yeah he's fine, a splinter only penetrated the skin during training"
"A splinter?" Gwen enquired
"Yeah he was acting like his finger was cut off, honestly and he calls me the girl!" he snorted in amusement and walked away to finish his chores.
