Chapter 1 - First Touch

Cedric took a run at the wall between platforms 9 and 10 in muggle London and arrived at platform 9 and 3/4 to see a glossy red train awaiting there.

"Goodbye Cedric darling you'll enjoy your first year at Hogwarts trust me ."His moher said whilst trying to hold back tears.

"Don't worry son I'm sure everything will be perfect for you." His father beamed.

Cedric hugged his mother and shook his father's hand before running into the group boarding the train.

After spending 10 minutes searching he finally found an empty compartment near the rear of the thought about sleeping but his silence was soon shattered by a girl knocking the window pane of the compartment door.

"Come in , I'm Cedric Diggory." He said sweetly as the girl blushed and sat across from him.

"Thanks , I'm Kaite Bell." She said smiling . "Is this your first year ?"

"Yeah and I'm kinda nervous.I expect I'll be in Hufflepuff though ."

"Aw that's a shame I'm in Gryffindor .Don't worry I'll make sure when the train stops you get to the correct transport to the castle."

"Thanks ."

They spent the next hour talking about their life when the time came for them to get wrapped itself round the windows and a curtain spilt the compartment in two.

"What's happening ?"Cedric said clearly worried.

"Oh sugar I was meant to tell you this ! Basicly the material is to stop anyone seeing you get changed."Katie said scolding herself.

"Oh ..." Cedric said as he started to put his uniform on.

The train had finally stopped at hogsmead station and Katie took Cedric's hand and took Hagrid.

"Well Cedric it was really nice to meet you and who knows maybe you'll be in Gryffindor."Katie said with a tint of hope in her voice.

"Bye." Cedric said clearly upset.

Katie stepped forward and gave him a small hug and gave him a soft kiss on the waved goodbye and when he turned round he saw the envy on the other boys faces.

This is gonna be a long night ! Cedric thought as he was led to the boats to journey to his new home.
