Swirls of snow flakes fell apon her shoulders, as she looked mornfully at the gravestone at her feet. Death must come for everyone. The cold blew in her face, she didn't want to breath any more..each tear hurt, every breath pained her, to think of living without...living with out him..she just couldn't... why had this happened? was it some mean trick of fate? Why must she lose the only one she truly cared about?

there were no answers, only sadness and heart break.

She put her hand to her chest. "It's broken"..she thought..."My heart.."

"he promised he'd come back safely...what happened?"

she'd been waiting for his return for two years, when he finally found out he could come home to her, he was over joyed. Both of them were. They had planned to meet at the dock, so he could see her as soon as his ship came in. She'd been happily preparing for his return, making the house look perfect, buying a new dress to impress him with. She hadn't been this happy since she last saw him. She ran all the way to the dock, arriving several hours early, waiting, hoping, praying...but the ship never came.

She had waited all day..where was he? why wasn't he there?

only when the twilight's darkness set in, and the cold wind of night fall apon her, did she go home. But she came the next day, and the next..untill..one day, there came a message......and a thousand tears to follow it. "he's gone..."

Sitting by the last light of day, she watched the sun sink below the horizon. Touching the cold stone where he lay, she smiled. And with drew a knife, one he had given her to protect herself before he left. "I have to be with you" she wispered to the air. could he hear her? the wind blew and rustled the trees. The snow stopped, and it was if the world around her was waiting to see what will happen next. She plunged the blade into her broken heart. "this is where i belong" she said. "where ever you are, Tsukasa" she smiled, and closed her eyes. all that was left was the red snow and tears.

she could finally be with him again.
