Seven ordinary not wanting to mix;

One strolled with his umbrella and then there were Six.

Six ordinary people trying to survive;

A cabbie came by and then there were Five.

Five ordinary people going in for law;

The jury claimed not guilty then there were Four.

Four ordinary people hearing out a plea;

A writer claimed storyteller and then there were Three.

Three ordinary people waiting for a clue;

A phone rang and then there were Two.

Two extraordinary people standing in the sun;

One pulled out a gun then there was One.

One extraordinary man left all alone;

He jumped off a hospital.

And then there were None.
