It had been exactly a year since Mumble had found his place among the penguins after saving them from starvation by the aliens.
Little did they know this wouldn't be the last time they had problems with the "Aliens".
It was just after mating season and the wives were coming home to their newly hatched chicks that's what brings us to the current couple admiring their beautiful baby girl little did they know she'd be snatched from them shortly,.
Her name was melody, and that night being a curious chick decided to take an adventure her oblivious parents fast asleep.
When she reached a clearing in emperor land that's when it happened something was thrown over her unknown to her knowledge it was a net.
The tangled up cords wrapping around her as strange two legged creatures carried her away talking about making a fortune selling her to a "Zoo."
Melody was so frightened as she was placed in a box were she waited and was fed by the creatures constantly hours turned to day's and day's turned to weeks before she would finally meet her destination.
When her box arrived at the zoo they decided to put her in with the rest of the penguins they were all small penguins so they hoped she wouldn't feel to threatened by them and vice versa.
Melody found herself being picked up by these strange creatures again and being placed in a strange environment the air felt to warm outside so she settled for going into the shelter of the enclosure.
When she entered it appeared to be empty that was for a the first few seconds before she was surrounded by four penguins.
All of them asking questions at once:
"State your name trespasser."
"What kind of penguin are you?"
"Why are you so fluffy?"
The last question being asked by a strange sounding and rather small and round penguin.
Melody tried to back away only to bump into one who promptly glared at her.
"Oh she looks scared Skipper." Said the small one coming toward her and offering her a friendly smile.
'Hello I'm private That's Skipper then there's Kowalski and lastly that's Rico." He told her pointing his fin at each of them. They all smiled awkwardly at her all seeming to not know how to handle the current situation and where trying to follow Privates lead.
"Hello ." She said in a very melodic voice as was the reason for her namesake. "I'm melody."
She then began to shiver as sobs overtook her. None of them seemed to know what to do Private finally stepped up to the plate and simply asked her what was wrong.
"I want to go home." She cried.
The Penguins felt for her it must have been traumatic not to know where you are or to be taken away from your parents at such a young age.
Skipper surprising the others was the one to offer her comfort. "Don't worry your safe now we'll look after you." He told her patting her head and offering her a warm smile.
She seemed to calm down some after this and that's when the questions came at her again...
