As she sat on the toilet seat staring at the little piece of plastic in her hand, she wondered how one night of enjoyment could have turned her entire life upside down.
She stood up, threw the test away, and walked downstairs where she knew Shisui would undoubtedly be waiting on her so they could go out for dinner like he promised after losing their sparring match earlier in the week.
As she walked down the stairs she wondered how she was going to tell him the words that would change their lives forever.
