~Just so you guys know this is my first fanfic so if it's bad I'm sorry~

This was the night I had been planning for about a month now. I couldn't believe what I was about to do but I knew I wouldn't regret it. I then got up and out of bed and crept outside. I had to get past eight guards to get to the gate were I would meet Malia, Alexia, Nekoette~Chan, Adam, and Lucas and escape for good. I felt bad for leaving my sister Alina and making mom worried, but I can't go back now.

I snuck past the first three guards easily, but the last five were a bit more difficult because there were less hiding places. I decided to turn around and go a different route. After a few paces I heard a voice call "Lilith?" I looked to my right and saw my sister, she looked like she was about to cry.

"Alina plea-"

"I won't tell a soul, but they'll notice you're missing pretty quickly..."

"Remember this isn't your fault" I said "I love you"

I knelt down and hugged her tight. I was definitely gonna miss her.

"I want to give you this..." She then gave me a dagger made of iron with some type of foreign writing on it

"It's beautiful "

Alina smiled and began walking the other direction.

When I got to the gate I was met with Malia, Alexia, Adam, and Lucas. "Where's Nekoette~Chan?"

"Uhh somewhere??" Adam said stupidly

"Tsk she went to go get horses, You idiot" Malia Replied

"How many??"

"Three" Alexia replied' " I'm sharing a horse with Nekoette, Malia is with Adam, and you're with Lucas."

"Cool," I said "I've got someone to annoy"

"Yay me..." Lucas replied

Just then Nekoette came with three horses

"Nekoette~Chan just got us a ride!!"

We rode in silence for about two hours, well at least until Malia broke it.

"So what are going to do about food and supplies?" she said

"I guess we're just gonna have to steal some money or something..." Adam replied.

"Nobody here has stolen before," Alexia said "We'd probably get caught in the act."

Lucas just looked down and said " I've stolen something before..."

It went quiet for a few seconds and to break the silence I say "Well it's good we have someone with experience, maybe we can have thieving lessons or something."

He looked down and, despite his effort to not show it, he smiled to himself. I had just learned Lucas's name only a week or two ago, I met him in a bar, I was pretty drunk. And so he helped me get home, and stole all of my money, despite bieng drunk, I caught him. He ran for it, and few days later I saw him at the same bar. Some may ask why I trust him, I don't, I just convinced him to come because he had experience with thieving.

Alexia and Malia were sisters. I met them in Phoenix Drop when I was young, and I met Adam at the guard academy, and yes, I was a student there since I was ten. I joined because at the time I wanted to be a guard, but things a can change in nine years time.

" I'm getting pretty tired guys" Malia said, "We should probably set up camp"

Malia was the youngest of the group, she was fifteen, so her sake we set up camp and I kept watch. I prefer to keep watch instead of sleep. It helps me think. For some reason the thought of Assassination came to mind. I would kill to keep my family and my village safe. "Wow," I thought " We're gonna be thieves and killers too"
