Everyone has looked upon me,
eyes showing disgrace
my family disowned me,
I am the forbidden child.
A hidden secret,
a lost treasure,
and a blackened heart.
Pittying no one, walking on
I do not complain about my life
as most do
and those who show self-pity
I spit at you.
Darkened doorways
narrowed eyes,
I travel on,
but everywhere I go...
I am always looked upon.
