Return of an Old Friend
AN: I am back. I apologize profusely for being gone for so long. I have not been here for years. I am still shocked people still are responding to my stories and so desperately want me to continue. So I am here to start something new. I hope you enjoy.

Prologue
"Are you insane, Orion?!" the female voice cried. "You're sending me away?!"
Orion Pax sighed heavily. "I wish I could say you would not have to leave, my love." He reached over and touched her shoulder gently. "I would give anything if it meant keeping you with me. But there is a war brewing. And you must stay safe. And our son. You two must stay out of harm's way."
The femme before him sobbed slightly but nodded in determination. She looked back and smiled warmly as her small son was helping their servant Helios carry boxes into their small ship. She looked back at Orion and kissed him gently.
"As soon as the war is over, call me. I will come back." she said.
Orion smiled and held her close in a last hug. "I will. You have my word."
