Summary: What if Ash met Botan when he was caught in the attacks of Mew and Mewtwo? What if he was brought to both Spirit World and the Hall of Origins, and was reborn anew? What new adventures will this lead Ash and his friends on?

MEW ISLAND
The atmosphere was tense on Mew Island, as two powerful auras battled for supremacy. On one side was the confused Mewtwo and his army of Pokémon clones, and on the other side was Mew, the reason Mewtwo was created, and the Pokémon that had been cloned, along with their trainers. A certain trio of trainers was among those fighting against Mewtwo. The first trainer of the group was a tall teen with dark brown skin, matching spiky hair, and squinted eyes. The teen wore brown pants, an orange shirt, with a green vest, and sneakers. This is Brock Slate, the former Pewter City gym leader. The second figure was the lone female of the group. She had orange hair in a small ponytail, green eyes, and wore jean shorts, a tracksuit that was a pale yellow, exposing her midriff with red suspenders, and sneakers. This is Misty Waterflower. The final member of the group was a young child with warm brown eyes, jet black hair, and wore jeans, a black shirt with a blue jacket, and a red baseball cap with a Poke Ball design on it. This was Ash Ketchum, and a rookie Pokémon trainer.
BATTLEFIELD
On the battlefield, both Mew and Mewtwo had powered up their respective attacks: two large balls of psychic energy being pink and blue respectively. The two powerful Psychic-type Pokémon launched their attacks Kamehameha style, and watched with baited breath.
SIDELINES
On the sidelines, those who opposed Mewtwo were looking on in horror at the display. Thinking quickly, Ash came up with an idea. A desperate and stupid idea. Looking to Brock and Misty Ash spoke. "Listen you guys, it's been a real joy being able to travel with you both by my side" Ash began. "Misty, I'm sorry I never said this sooner, but I love you" Ash continued, causing Misty's eyes to widen. Please tell my mother I'm sorry, but I have to do this" Ash said, before running towards the battlefield.

"Ash isn't about to do what I think he is he" Misty asked with trepidation?
BATTLEFIELD
The two attacks began moving almost in slow motion, as they closed in on each other.
"STOP!"
Eyes widened, as Ash appeared between the two attacks, just as they sandwiched him, creating a gigantic flash of light that blinded everyone.
ASH
Ash grimaced in pain, as he opened his eyes, and saw the area still enveloped in a bright flash. "Okay, am I dead" Ash wondered aloud, before he heard a gasp. Turning, Ash was greeted by a beautiful young girl with blue hair and pink eyes. "My, this is an interesting turn of events" the girl said. "Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, you weren't supposed to die today" the girl said. "I'll have to take you to see my boss Koenma in the Spirit World" the girl said, before realizing something. "Where are my manners, I'm Botan, and I'm what many would call the Shinigami, or Grim Reaper" Botan said.

"You are actually not that gruesome to look at" Ash said, while Botan giggled, before her eyes snapped wide open at the jab to her words. "Come on and let's go" Botan said, as she and Ash disappeared in Botan's flying boat. As the duo disappeared, they felt a pair of eyes watching them with shock. The pair of eyes glowed blue, stopping time completely in that moment.
SPIRIT WORLD
The boat arrived in what looked to be a large office building. "Well we're here" Botan said, as she led ash to a large door, and knocked.
"Enter."
Opening the door, Botan entered, bringing Ash along with her. "Ah Botan-"the figure stopped when he took notice of Ash. "Simply put, Koenma, Ash wasn't supposed to die before his time" Botan explained. Ash blinked multiple times at the sight of Koenma. "Your boss is a little kid who still uses a pacifier" Ash asked cautiously? This question had two effects. The first was Koenma develop several tick marks on the back of his head, while an anime rain cloud hovered over his head. The second was Botan rolling on the floor, howling with laughter, while kicking the air with her legs, and banging her fists on the floor. After several minutes of Botan's hysterical laughter, Koenma finally spoke. "This is a problem, however I don't think I'll be much help, however I may know someone who can help" Koenma said, pressing a button under his desk. Within moments, a large portal materialized, and a strange quadruped-like creature emerged. "What is this emergency-"the creature instantly froze when it saw Ash standing there.

"Houston we have a problem" Koenma said to himself, seeing the look the creature had.
"My chosen" the creature said, as it closed its eyes. "Y-You're Arceus" Ash said, instantly kneeling before the legendary Pokémon? "Yes Ash Ketchum, I am the legendary Arceus" Arceus said. "I may have a way to help you, however it will result in the timeline shifting slightly" Arceus said. With that, Arceus began to lead Ash away, before Ash did something surprising. Walking to Botan, Ash took a knee and gently kissed her hand. "That was for being such a help, and hopefully we can meet again under better circumstances" Ash said, as Botan was glowing red and pink.
HALL OF ORIGINS The two reappeared in a large hall decorated with pictures and statues of the various legendary Pokémon and beautiful fountains with crystal blue water. "Ash Ketchum welcome and behold the Hall of Origins" Arceus said, indicating the vast area. Ash could only look on in awe of what lay before him. "Now in order to reverse what has transpired, I'm going to have to awaken your latent abilities, and I can assure you, it won't hurt" Arceus reassured, before closing its eyes. Soon, Ash was enveloped in a bright blue aura. "I feel the power rushing through my body" Ash said. "Perfect, your aura is now active, and you should have some knowledge of how to use it" Arceus said, while Ash nodded. "I can't help much since I'm not supposed to interfere with human affairs unless absolutely necessary, but I can give you some advice" Arceus said. "Head to the region of Kalos, and seek the Mega evolution guru Gerkin to help in your training" Arceus said, while Ash nodded. "WE shall meet again Ash, and until then stay safe" Arceus thought as Ash was gone.
BATTLEFIELD
The smoke had finally died down to reveal Ash standing there with a blazing blue energy around him. Every jaw dropped when they saw Ash. "H-How" Mewtwo got out?

"ENOUGH"
Ash said, making everyone step back. "There will be no more senseless fighting" Ash said. "While I can understand your hatred towards humans, you failed to realize there are good humans in this world, and that far outweighs the bad humans" Ash said, flexing his aura over Mewtwo. "I'm not going to say it again, back down and cool off" Ash ordered.

After several tense minutes, Mewtwo sighed. "Using his psychic powers, he and the clone Pokémon flew into the air and disappeared. "Thank you for making me see the truth, and as a thanks, only you will remember this" Mewtwo's voice said from within Ash's mind. Soon everyone was on their own way, with Ash reuniting with Brock and Misty

Now to explain a few things:
Yes, Ash will be a Spirit Detective in the Pokémon regions, and he'll learn about aura in the next few chapters.
This will be an Ash/harem story, and I've already introduced two of the girls who will be in the harem, or three if you count the hint I gave on the third girl in 2018 Sneak Peak.
I do want to ask you guys on who James should get with in a small harem of 4-5 girls:

Tabitha from Team Magma
Shelly from Team Aqua
Commander Mars from Team Galactic
I'm not putting Jessie and Jessibelle as options because I've got plans for them down the road.
As for Ash's harem, I already have a few ideas, but I'd like to hear who you suggest, just as long as it isn't Cynthia, no offense to RayShipping fans, but I don't think it's fair to other girls who are just as eligible, and the idea is overused.
