Chapter 1.
As Sonic made his way through the snow encrusted streets of station square, a young fox ran up to him. "Hey Sonic" shouted Tails, Sonic's best buddy and adopted brother. "Hey Tails, Whatcha up to?" Sonic said. "Oh not much, finishing off the Christmas shopping (because it was the week of Christmas) and I was wondering whether you would come round for the party. Amy, Knuckles, Vector, Antoine, Emerl, Sally and Shadow will be there too." Tails said, with some festive cheer in his voice. "He he Tails I'll see what I can do. Hopefully Eggman won't try to destroy the planet (again)." Sonic said, smiling. "Lets just hope Sonic. I gotta dash so I'll hopefully see you then. Bye" Tails shouted, running to where he parked the tornado. Sonic wondered what to do now. Seeing as he had nothing else to do, he ran across the water, from Blue Ridge Zone to Central City. He was looking forward to going to tails' party. Snow frosted the ground and made Sonic feet cold as he trudged to his house. Upon opening the door, his living room was dark and was colder than outside. He flicked on his lights and managed to turn on the fire with his numb hands. The wooden logs burned and crackled, the embers jumping into the air and attacking each other. Sonic had put on the kettle, eaten some chilli dogs on the side and washed everything out of an inch of its life. He began to feel like Amy, cleaning everything till it was spotless "That's better" he sighed, watching his breath slither around like a snake. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Sonic wondered who it would be. He looked at his watch-19:00. Curiously, he opened the door and his un-mistakenly egg shaped nemesis was stood there with a gift box under his arm. "Sonic, so good to see you. I just wanted to give you this to say, Merry Christmas. I'll be away so nothing to fear." Eggman laughed his sinister laugh, but in the current weather, he had an impression of Santa. Sonic chuckled to himself at this joke. He could imagine Eggman's robots, moving about with elf hats on.(This is my first story so please don't comment to harshly. Thnx. Next chapter out soon.)
