(Pre-author's note: I don't own Naruto or it's characters, Masashi Kishimoto does. This is set after Naruto Shippuuden and the characters are in their 20's. Enjoy)
It was just another day in Konohagakure. The sun was shining and the birds cripping. A blond man woke up to the sun shining in his face.
"Argh why is it to bright," said the man. He was about to get out of bed when he realized his wife wasn't there.
"Huh? Where's Hinata?" asked the man to himself.
He then saw a note sitting on the pillow next to him.
The note said:
Dear Naruto-kun,
I had to take Minato to see my father. Be back later, bringing homemade ramen with me :)
Love you Naruto-kun
Hinata
After reading the note his heart warmed. 'That Hinata :) Always being kind and sweet about everything' mused Naruto.
It was just then when Naruto looked toward the clock which read 11:00am 'Oh Shit! I'm going to be late, Tsunade baa-chan will kill me' thought Naruto who was now getting dressed in a remarkable speed. He was out of the house in record time.
Hours later...
Naruto was walking back home after yet another crazy day between Tsunade's training for him to become Hokage and missions, today was horrible.
By the time he got to his door to the appt he shared with his wife and son. When he opened the door he was surprised to see the appt dark. With a heavy sigh he walked in and shut the door. Just as he flicked on the switch, he was tackled by a small boy.
A smile grew on his face as he looked down at his sweet little boy.
"Hey there, how was today with grandpa?" Naruto asked his little son.
"Grandpa was funny daddy. I had him chase me around again," said the small boy with a smile that matched his daddy's on his face.
"That's great Minato-kun," said Naruto as he hugged Minato, just glad to be home.
Just then Naruto smelled ramen and not just any ramen but homemade ramen. Naruto's mouth was already dooling.
With his son in his arms he ran toward the kitchen to see his wife, Hinata standing by the stove. After putting down Minato, Naruto ran toward his wife. He hugged her from behind as he simled and she giggled.
"How's it going Hinata-chan?" asked Naruto with a foxy smile on his face.
"Just great Naruto-kun," she said as she kissed him.
"You know what Hinata-chan, I'm just glad that after such a crazy day, I have you to come home to," said Naruto.
"Oh Naruto-kun," is all Hinata could say as she hugged her husband with all her might.
--This just tells you that if you have someone you love to come home to everyday, you don't need anything else in the world--
