Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto, I don't even own the title cause I got it off one of the Naruto chapters.

NOTE: I'm just trying out this idea that's been floating around in my head for ages, also to make it clearer, it's a crossover between Naruto and the pilot chapter of Naruto.

START

The sun shone through the window of Naruto's apartment at just the right angle to viciously attack his eyes. His face scrunched up before forcing himself to get up. Stretching, Naruto yawned but suddenly paused. He didn't recognize whose room he was in. There were various potted plants scattered in the apartment, strange posters, cramped rooms. Nothing familiar. What was going on?

Exploring the place for hints he found a photo of a small group. He could've mistaken one of them as himself if it weren't that his face was thinner and there were weirdoes surrounding his photo self. Determined to find some answers Naruto raided the instant noodles and took the money, quickly leaving the apartment.

The outside was even more of a shock than the apartment. There were buildings of all heights grouped together with trees squeezed in extra spaces, a huge mountain with people's faces the side facing the village and hundreds of people milling about the open shops.

But what happened to his home? Where was his beloved Mt. Oinari? Well sure no one trusted him and called him a monster but now he was in a strange village and he had just made friends with the old man and found Takashi's killer. What was going on?

Just as Naruto was starting to panic he felt someone's hand on his shoulder. Turning around he recognized the guy from the photo: tall, lazy looking with grey hair and a droopy eye.

"What are you doing Naruto?" Photo man drawled.

Naruto tensed prepareing to flee when the guy griped his arm lightly and dragged him towards a small bridge.

"Hey. Hey! Where are we going jerk! Let go!" Naruto yelled at the old man, tugging incessantly at his arm in an attempt to free himself.

"Now, now Naruto relax you're just late for training" The guy wasn't very good at answering his questions. "Look there's Sakura and Sasuke up ahead."

There were the other two people from the picture waiting at the bridge. The funny pink haired girl was attempting to chat up the grumpy chicken guy before they noticed them walking over. Were they Sasuke and Sakura?

"What took you so long Naruto! You're late for training you idiot!" The scary pink girl looked like she was going to murder him when a too familiar voice rang out.

"Heeey! Sakura-chan, Kaka-sensei, Sasuke-teme! Sorry I'm late! Someone broke in my house and took all the valuables!" A blond boy eerily similar to Naruto was running towards them. Violent pink girl's mouth was open in surprise her fist just about to break Naruto's nose. Even Cyclops and Chicken boy looked surprised. Both Naruto's were shocked stiff.

"Who are you!"

"You're not a kagebunshin!"
