I really want to be a beta. But since I am a slow typer, I cant update my story fast enough to get up to 6000 words so this is a random idea chart for my story. Read the actual story and review =)

Random parts in the future

"I still wanna stay close to you. Even if I know you can do this," he explained with a smile.

I smiled back as we made our way to the ocean. I could see Nate and Iz having fun in the shallow water. They were having a splash war between themselves. I don't know what it is with them two and wars but they looked like they were having fun; that's all that matters.

I'm not a huge fan of cold water so I was glad when I dipped my foot in and it was pretty warm. I pulled on Shane's hand and we waded over to where Iz and Nathan were having their war. I held up my hands in an 'I surrender' gesture so they wouldn't splash me. Nate evidently either didn't care about my 'surrendering' or didn't feel like stopping the war because he splashed me anyway.

"Hey Iz, let's go out further and bob in the waves," I suggested to her. Every time we had come her when we were little we would always bob in the waves.

"SWEET! Let's go!" She squealed excitedly, grabbing my free hand and pulling me towards deeper water. I glanced back at Shane and nodded, effectively telling him I'd be right back. As soon as we were deep enough in the water I rounded on Iz.

"What the hell Isabella?! Since you decided to take away my rash guard, I had to pretty much have an awkward conversation about the accident with Shane. Now I'm gonna have to tell him the whole story sooner or later… Thanks a lot…" I glared at her, frowning.

"I'm sorry Jules. I didn't realize that you would still have the bad memories from the accident. I guess I didn't think before I acted… Forgive me?" She apologized, looking truly sorry. With that look I couldn't help but forgive her.

"Just tell me one thing. Why did you think I wouldn't go swimming with you guys after that? Did you think I turned into a cat and hated water or something? The only reason I agreed to come to the beach is because you're my best friend and I was excited to come here with Shane." I explained.

"I really don't know… How about we go back to the guys and see what they wanna do."

"Sounds good to me," I smiled, glad she had changed the subject.

We walked back into shallow water to find the guys watching us. I rolled me eyes at Shane and he just chuckled before snaking an arm around my waist and pulling me close.

"What would you guys like to do now?" I asked them, hoping it wouldn't be anything too….weird.

I saw Nate shoot a smirk at Shane before they both looked down at us. Oh no… This cannot be good…

"Boogie board time!" Nathan called out. " Shane and I will go get the boards. Stay right here."

They ran off and I shot a confused look at Iz. She shrugged and we burst out laughing. They were back a few seconds later with two boogie boards. I rolled my eyes again. "Can you seriously not count? There are four of us here but you guys only brought two boogie boards," I questioned with my hands on my hips.

They smirked at each other again before Nate picked up Iz bridal style and Shane threw me over his shoulder.

"Shane!!" I shrieked, banging my fist against his back. "What have my friends done to you?! As far as I know you've never even hung out with James."

"I have no clue what you're talking about but I have a new found respect for your firehouse friends."

I rolled my eyes at his words. Even though I hated being thrown over peoples shoulders, I really couldn't complain since it was Shane.
