I'm cunning, sly, ambitious

Proud and sneaky too

I know that I'm a Slytherin

Green and silver true

I'm sure before I'm Sorted

In which house I will be

I belong in Slytherin

And Slytherin is me

So what's up with the Sorting Hat?

Why does it take so long?

I know when it yells "GRYFFINDOR!"

That something's really wrong

I'm Slytherin, true Slytherin

That's where I'm meant to go

It doesn't matter that I'm Sorted

A/N: I know someone who was absolutely sure she was a Slytherin. But due to a misunderstanding on Pottermore, she got Sorted into...Gryffindor. The one house she was certain she wouldn't get into. The one house she avidly disliked. So I wrote this for her.
