I didn't know.
There was so much more I wanted to do. So much I wish I hadn't done. Funny, I never thought of myself as a person who had regrets. When I was young I always said, "No regrets." How naïve! Everyone has regrets.
I wish I hadn't been so serious.
I wish I'd gotten married.
I wish I'd spent an entire weekend on a beach in Fiji.
I wish I'd known how it felt to hold my baby in my arms.
I wish I'd told him how I felt.
But, I didn't know. I was clueless. How could I have known I'd die so young, so suddenly?
