Bowser was with his daughter Ayumi waiting for breakfast, although he couldn't help but notice she was very tired. When she began eating her food, she appeared to doze off a little. Her green eyes started to close slowly...
"Ayumi?" he asked, tapping her carefully. She awoke startled and rubbed her eyes. Bowser crossed his arms assuming she was staying up all night.
"Ayumi were you up all night?" he grumbled. Ayumi shook her head tiredly.
"No...and I have no idea why I'm so sleepy…I think..." she dozed off again, but her father gently shook her. She awoke again and let out a panicked bleat. Bowser picked her up and gently cradled her, holding her against his chest.
"There there Ayumi. Daddy's here….Why don't you go to sleep right now?" he asked, petting her. It took her a while to answer, but then she looked at her dad with somber and weary eyes.
"Well...Okay, but can you sleep with me? I don't wanna sleep alone..." He looked at her and shook his head…he could do it but he was going to kidnap Peach again. As much as he wanted that, he didn't want to leave Ayumi alone since Shy Gal was busy, and he couldn't just carry her around. Then, Bowser's stomach growled. It seemed his breakfast wasn't exactly filling.
"Alright Ayumi, I'll take you with me. But you're going in my belly, and if you don't want that, then you're staying at home. Got it?" He said. Ayumi looked shocked and worried.
"I won't digest you. I promise…please Ayumi. I'm really hungry…" he pleaded. Ayumi bleated tiredly and nodded.
Bowser soon opened his mouth wide and put her in. He licked her slightly in an attempt to relax her. Ayumi purred and felt her dad's warmth encompass her. He carefully guided her through his throat, not minding the fact she too had a spiked shell, and eventually, she landed in his stomach. Bowser burped and chuckled as Ayumi tried to find a comfy position to sleep in. She could hear her father's heart beating softly, a sound that always relaxed her.
"Sleep tight, Ayumi..." he said softly. "You're safe here."
He soon began to sing a lullaby in Koopa, which to a human, sounds like growls and grumbles. But to Ayumi, it was the best thing she could have that would relax her. She closed her eyes as her father rubbed his swollen, bulging stomach. Bowser himself yawned and decided he could kidnap Peach later since now he would rather take a small nap with his daughter safe in his belly.
