Warning - there are a few swears in this. :o

Demyx leaned back, trying not to laugh.

If anything, Xigbar did not expect this. Sure, Demyx was known for being one of the less serious members of Organization XIII but hell, so was he.

"What?" Xigbar asked, pushing him back, clearly annoyed. Demyx just shook his head, giggling a bit.

"I, ah… It's nothing really." Demyx grinned sheepishly, unable to hide it as it crept across his features.

"Well, it's gotta be something if it's so damn funny." Xigbar said flatly, looking at Demyx and feeling like an idiot.

Demyx shook his head again, looking away. "No, really, it's stupid. I don't know why I'm this giddy." Xigbar could see Demyx bite his lip, see him try not to smile.

If not even Demyx couldn't take him seriously he knew he was in a bad situation. Hell, it's not as though he could really, honestly say he was in his right state of mind. He couldn't be. He wouldn't have grabbed Demyx by the shoulders and kissed him if he were in his right state of mind. Hell, everything about what had just happened was clearly proof that he was completely insane.

"Okay, okay, you don't have to give me the silent treatment, I'll tell you…" Demyx paused, that fucking grin still plastered on his face. Xigbar just looked at him impatiently. "Well…" Demyx smiled as he talked, hesitantly. "That was, ah… sort of my first kiss." Demyx had started playing with his hands, still grinning and avoiding Xigbar's gaze.

Xigbar fought back a grin of his own. Now he got it.

"Sort of?" He asked, keeping the smug tone out of his voice.

"…Okay, it was." Demyx said seeming fidgety, even if he was still smiling a bit.

Xigbar held his chin and tilted his face back up for another.

So maybe being completely insane wasn't so bad after all.
