Veronica's raspy breath was very dry as she breathed in and out. The dryness of breath while the sun beat down her face sounded like a ghost breathing in pain. She ran away from the group of girls surrounding her, running into the shadow not looking at where she ran and bumped into the school's major hottie Brad.
"Whoa, slow your roll. Where are you going to in such a hurry?" he said.
"Umm…ummm...uh," Veronica tried to say making up an excuse to try and get away and trying not to look at his beautiful crystal blue eyes. They looked as if he were looking at the ocean ands you saw the reflection in his eyes. But the temptation was to strong, she had to look up. Looking into his eyes was like getting lost in a maze that you didn't want to get out of, you were lost and you loved it. But when she looked into his eyes she didn't just see live she saw dinner. She had dreams about strapping him to a wall and taking her teeth and biting into his neck and just blacking out. Can you say true love or what?
"I need to get out of the sun so that I can have the perfect tan for my boyfriend," she said drawing him closer to her.
"No public display of affection, young ones," said their principal Mr. Brown.
"Yes, Mr. Brown," both Veronica and Brad said at the same time.
When Mr. Brown turned the corner she started sniffing him and giving him small kisses on his lips and cheek. (I don't think I need to tell you why she was sniffing him.)
"Veronica, even though I really, really enjoy this we should stop before we get in trouble. And I don't want your dad to get angry with me, you know he already doesn't like me," said Brad.
"Oh, you know my dad doesn't like me because he doesn't want me to leave him. (True but so untrue.)Come on let's go somewhere private," Veronica said so temptingly that Brad almost said yes. Brad almost said yes but,
"No, I can't. You know if we get caught we won't be able to see each other anymore. You are so good to me and I don't want to spoil that.
Veronica disappointed reluctantly had to agree, Veronica felt her fangs receding slowly. She was so happy to finally get a 'real lunch or dinner' whatever you want to call it. It was great how Brad wanted to stay with her but sometimes she just wanted to grab him by the neck and bite him.
"Hi, Brad," said a sexy, sultry voice behind him. "hope you missed me cause I missed you. Oh, hi Veronica how are you doing?! You know you should stay outside more even though you have a perfect tan to get away from those dweebs you always hangout with. You know they say you don't know what you're missing until you breakaway from the pack," said the school 'Bad Girl', Bianca. She was always trying to get at Brad.
Veronica rolled her eyes counted to three and bit her right in front of her mortal B.F.!! BRAD!!
