Author's note: im trying a new series since splatoon is not something haters like lets try Mario Strikers Charged its one of my favorite games infact my 6th favorite so this is worth it hope you guys enjoy!

It was a fine day in the mushroom kingdom nothing too special Peach has not been captured and Mario finally gets a break but our story is not about the all star red plumber instead our story takes place with everyones favorite green dinosaur named Yoshi who was hanging out with one of his best friends, Toad at Toads house.

They both walk out his house.

Toad: hey that was actually pretty fun.

Yoshi: yeah it was but we should probably go meet up with Mario and the others.

They both begin walking as they first go to Yoshi's house to check to see if he has any mail, he finds an invitation.

Yoshi: hey I got a letter.

Toad: what does it say?

Yoshi: dear T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas you have been selected as a team captain in the Mushroom kingdoms very on Striker cup tournament as everyone from across will be participating please come to the Palace of Princess Peach to meet up with the other captains we will discuss rules and many more signed Toadsworth.

Toad: well your not gonna go its probably some sort of scam.

Yoshi: you'll never know unless we find out, hop on.

Toad climbs onto Yoshi's back and they go heading towards Peaches castle as Yoshi opens the doors they see Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Wario, Luigi, Donkey kong, Mario, Diddy kong, Petey piranha and Waluigi all talking with each other with the same invite as Yoshi.

Toad: wow they werint kidding.

Yoshi: so these are all the captains huh? Figures.

Mario: hey Yoshi you're here!

Yoshi: hey everyone.

Wario: it took you long enough.

Daisy: you got the invite too huh? Man a tournament? This is so totally my thing!

Toadsworth: welcome everyone I was waiting for all you to get here

Everyone: Toadsworth!

Toadsworth: now I know you must be confused about everything like why am I here whats the Striker cup tournament what is this? Well you see the Striker cup tournament is a Soccer/Football tournament taken too the extreme battling for the Striker cup and facing against the reigning champions! quite exciting. you can also use items, the fields are nowhere near normal and this tournament about team work so think smart about your moves.

Luigi: team work! So can we get team up together.

Toadsworth: sadly no, you will all be Captains of separate teams who will face off against each other where your team will be consisted of 3 sidekicks and your goalie being a Kremling everyone will have a team of 5 the captain, 3 sidekicks and the goalie and heres a little tidbit.

Toadsworth walks up to Mario and points to his heart.

Toadsworth: with the flames in your heart you have the ability to fire the ball in all kinds of ways…well that's all for now the tournament starts next month on the 30th everyone get ready and take your time.

As Toadsworth leaves the room everyone starts to question make statements or having exciting conversations

Peach: oh my we are all against each other

Toad: I guess its everyone for themselves

Wario: and its no holds barred my type of thing

Waluigi: with items!

Diddy: (but what did he mean by "with the flames in your heart you have the ability to fire the ball in all kinds of ways)

Mario: I have no idea

Yoshi: if we're all so excited then what are we standing here for, lets all go find some team mates.

And with that everyone scrambled to get their teams settled started later on Yoshi and Toad met Dry Bones and Shy guy.

Yoshi: oh hey Dry bones hi Shy guy.
Dry bones: hello.

Shy guy: hi guys!

Toad: did you get the news?

Dry bones: w-what news?

Yoshi: theirs gonna be a soccer tournament called the Striker cup tournament and I was picked to be one of the team capt leaders and we need a team.

Shy guy: why are you asking us? Why cant Mario and Luigi join you?

Toad: because Peach, Dais,y Wario, Waluigi, DK, Diddy, Petey, Mario and Luigi are all captains of their own teams

Yoshi: so we just want to ask you guys wanna join?

Shy guy: Would i? count me in!

Shy guy says with a happy expression as he struts to Yoshi's side.

Dry bones: i..think I'll pass…

Toad: huh? Why? When we have parties you always want to come.

Dry bones: i..i just don't….

Dry bones walks away somewhat disappointedly.

As the other 3 look at each other in shock and confusion but later shrugged it of and head back to the castle as they find Toadsworth tell him about what their team Jerseys are gonna look like after being told and uniforms being made they were shown to the Classroom to practice

Kritter: nice place but where's the ball?

Toadsworth: its right there.

He points to a metal sphere glowing with yellow energy.

Toad: huh? Why is it armoured?

Toadsworth: trust me you'll soon figure out take your time now fellas.

Yoshi: thanks Toadsworth.

As Toadsworth walked out the room the 3 start practicing passing the ball to each other from the ground to extreme heights then starts practicing kicking the ball into the ball they were having fun until they heard a familiar voice shout out.

?: guys!

Shy guy: is that dry bones?

Dry bones: look guys I thought about it everyone was talking about it and…I really want to join just imagine traveling to vast places and meeting other in epic soccer matches.

Toad: that's what we've been trying to tell you!

Yoshi: well hey lets all try to stay as a team and work together…as team Yoshi.

Yoshi puts his hand out everyone else puts their hand on top of the other.

Yoshi: 1, 2, 3!

Yoshi, Toad, Shy guy, Dry bones and Kritter: Team Yoshi!

And from that point forward they start training more and eventually having a 2 on 2 after a bunch of practicing they all take a break as this marks the start of our protagonists reaching the top.
