So I heard a Shania Twain song today come up called "I'm Jealous" and a lyrics of the song was "I'm Jealous of the Moon" and I instantly came up with this little one-shot of Tokka, my OTP of Avatar so I hope you guys enjoy it.

I can hear Katara putting out the dishes for dinner, I can tell Aang is helping but there was someone missing, "where is Sokka?" I ask no in particular, I wait a few minutes listening for his voice when someone says, "outside, it's the anniversary of Princess Yue becoming the moon," Katara answers between setting up, I let out a sigh I feel my stomach begin to hurt.
"Is he going to eat dinner with us at least?" I ask Katara, I knew how he celebrated the anniversary, nothing but him and the moon on the porch. When Katara doesn't answer me I realize she probably didn't hear me. I walk towards the door frame and place my ear against it, I'm able to hear Sokka on the outside of it.
"So I guess I should start," I hear Sokka say his voice joyful, "Katara and Aang are betrothed, I'm sure you saw that one coming," he pauses, "I see my dad sometimes, I'm still with Suki, she's gone a lot though so I barley ever see her," his voice sounds sad for a moment before he starts again, "and then there is Toph," once I hear my own name I push my ear closer to the door hoping to hear better.
"Yue you would be so amazed with her, I mean she invented metal bending so many people believed it wasn't at all possible and then my best friend goes and does it and it's just amazing, I know I've told you before but I can't help gloat about it, there is also something else I should probably tell you about Toph," he pauses letting out a small laugh, I lean closer to the door when I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"It's not polite to ease drop," Aang says sarcastically and I suddenly feel embarrassed at what I was just doing.
"You won't tell Sokka will you?" I ask Aang as he helps me stand up he laughs at my question and my face starts to burn.
"No Toph I won't tell him, Katara is finished with dinner," he tells me and I can smell it suddenly feeling hungry but also curious.
I wonder what Sokka was going to say about me? I had to admit it I was jealous of the moon. She got to sleep with him and she got to hear all his secrets yup this is me Toph.
