In was a Saturday afternoon, the first weekend off of school since the survivors got back. Eric was sitting in his throwing a baseball to himself when he looked at the time.

1:47. Why haven't I eaten lunch yet?

Eric had always relied on his stomach to let him know when meal time was. But the last few days, it hadn't. His mom had to tell him to come and eat. But his parents were at his little sister's soccer game right now, so he had to feed himself.

He leisurely walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, opening up the freezer.

Let's see… pizza, chicken, ice cream, waffles…

Suddenly his eye spotted some bananas sitting on the counter.

Bananas sound good right now.

He closed the freezer door and grabbed a banana. He gently peeled it and then took a bite. It was right there he realized he hadn't had one since he left the island. The first three days he had been pigging out on all the junk food he missed out on for the month he was gone, and the rest he just picked at whatever food he had, saying he had no appetite.

The more of the banana he ate, the hungrier he got.

I wish I had a mango, or some fish, or coconuts to go with this.

Instantly he realized what was happening.

I was on that island way to long.

He scribbled a note to his parents, stuck it on the counter, and walked out the door to the grocery store, anxious to get his new favorites foods.

A/N- So, what did you think?? I know it's short, but that's just oneshot number 1. I've got six more coming. Review please!!
