A Date
By: Lady OceanStar
I stood in my room
Solemn and silent
Then Aeris burst through the door
She wasn't pleasantly quiet
She asked me about my promise
And I was so plainly confused
She giggled sweetly and softly
Then pulled me out of the room
I seemed to be put on a leash
As she pulled me away
She dragged me into the theater
And then we heard a bang
A man appeared out of nowhere
And told us that we won
We could be in the performance
Aeris giggled, "This might be fun!"
I felt the butterflies in my stomach
As I stood there on that stage
Aeris was now acting as a princess
And I laughed at her foolish charades
Then the play was over
And we went for a ride on a train
We really didn't speak to each other
Until she spoke my name
We then stared at each other in silence
A smile on her soft face
Oh God, she was so beautiful
Her eyes where full of grace
I loved her so much right then
And then the train came to a stop
All the magic that was with me right then disappeared
And all the grace went, "POP!"
Then we seen Cait Sith
We tried to talk to him there
he ran away and us after him
Putting back all of our cares
Cait Sith stopped and told of a secret
And then we had no choice
We had to go to the ancient's temple
Now I know it was a sad course
Aeris wanted to come with me
She said she was the only one who'd understand
I decided yes for an answer
I was such a foolish man
It's hard to go on without her
But for her, Oh God, I will
And even though she's gone far away
Oh, my Aeris, I love you still...
****The End****
