Cream was twelve.

She was experiencing a lot of things since she hit this age, such as puberty, which included the growth of her chest (breasts) and her monthly cycle (period) She wasn't expecting this type of change and was scared at first.

Vanilla was patient and help her through with an open palm. Cream had slowly gotten used to her changes and starting to adjust to the weird and painful sides to this process.

There was one thing that she wasn't expecting to happen. She was starting to have feelings for the guys in her grade which was Tails and Charmy. Tails, even though he was in her grade, took college classes and told her that he had no time for love. She made a joke that he'll most likely marry a book on physics or something.

As for Charmy, well, kids like Saffron and Matilda are already gossiping about how they want to go out with him. She like Charmy too but is a little too shy about things like that. She had been friends with Charmy since they were two and the last thing she needed was that being broken because of a crush.

That Friday, Cream sighed as she walked home with Marine and Saffron. The raccoon was in the seventh, a year older than her, and grew out of her usual pigtails. Instead she wore her hair in a long braid held by some golden colored rubber bands. She also wore a white short sleeve shirt with a ship on it and jean shorts.

She looked over to Cream, her blue eyes filled with confusion and curiosity as she asked in her accent. "What's wrong Cream?"

Cream stared at the ground before responding. "It's nothing."

"Oh come on mate, you've been down like this since the beginning of third term! What's up with ya?"

Cream glanced at Saffron, who was happily texting on her phone, before looking back at Marine. She then tilted her head towards the mentioned bee. The raccoon nodded, taking out her phone and sending a message to Cream that said.

Tell me about it when we drop her off. Her house it up the street remember.

The rabbit nodded back as Saffron squealed happily and twirled her pink dress around. Her ponytail swishing back and forth merrily as she said.

"Guys! Can you believe that Charmy said he'll go on a date with me this weekend?! He's like one of the CUTEST boys to walk this planet!"

"That's great." Cream said dryly but Saffron didn't noticed as she skipped home. She then waved from her gate.

"See you guys on Monday!"

"Bye Saffron!" Marine waved. "See you!"

As the bee buzzed happily up to her patio and let herself in, the raccoon turned to the rabbit.

"She's a whore." Cream said bluntly causing Marine to gasp.

"Cream! She is our friend!"

"I know but she LOVES to rub her little BF accomplishments in our faces. Like third term LITERALLY just started and she is already with another guy!"

"I know right." the raccoon nodded. "Like a week ago, she was moping for six hours on Face Time telling us that Ray broke up with her for Matilda. And then the next day, they're sitting together during lunch, laughing and carrying on!"

"She's bipolar."

"Cream, she's more than bipolar. She's completely insane!"

The rabbit laughed. "The doctors must have dropped her or something!"

"Maybe her parents did!" Marine said, continuing to burst into laughter.

Cream stopped laughing a few moments later and looked back down at the ground sadly. Marine noticed this and asked. "What's with the moping now?"

The rabbit didn't look up from the ground but said solemnly. "I like Charmy."

The raccoon's eyes filled up with shock. "Really?! No wonder you blush when he talks to you sometimes!"

Cream nodded as tears welled up in her eyes. "But that doesn't matter now. He's with a whore and it's all my fault! I should have told him my feeling first!"

As the rabbit continued to sob, Marine rubbed her back. "It's alright Cream! Don't cry! Ray's and Saffron's relationship only lasted for two weeks! I'm sure by next Friday Charmy will be available and you can go out with him."

Cream wiped her tears as a smile appeared on her face. "You're right! Things are gonna get better! Thanks Mari!"

She hugged the raccoon before flapping her large ears up to her doorstep. She then shouted.

"I'll see you tomorrow at your treehouse!"

"Alright!" Marine responded, waving back. "Make sure you bring the cookies!"

Cream nodded as she headed inside. The rest of the day went by smoothly. Cream ate dinner, took a shower, brushed her teeth and went to bed. However one thing was on her mind while doing all of these things.

Charmy.

She continued to think about him as she crawled into bed. How would he react? Will he say yes? Does he REALLY like Saffron? A pit started to form in her gut as she thought about being rejected. Maybe she needed advice on something like this. Someone who know the ins and outs of love.

"You made the right choice Cream!"

"But I was trying to head to Rouge's."

"ROUGE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING!"

Cream was severely confused as Amy intercepted her on the attempt to talk to Rouge. The rabbit sat back on the red velvet couch in shock as the pink hedgehog smirked, picking up some red glasses and a clipboard her coffee table. She then sat next to her in a white armchair before saying.

"Now Cream, I want you to tell me everything."

The twelve year old twirled her index fingers and blushed a little as she spoke. "Well I have this little crush on Charmy and-"

"AWW!" the pink hedgehog cooed, spinning around the front of the room. "I wonder how he'll propose! OHH! Probably with a bouquet of orange and yellow tulips with a topaz ring to match! And the color scheme should DEFINITELY be light yellow and orange! I'LL HELP YOU PICK OUT A DRESS AND-!"

"AMY!" the rabbit interfered, snapping the mention lunatick out of her thoughts. Cream pouted, crossing her arms as she said.

"All I said is I have a little crush and you FREAKED! Either way, I can't tell him now… He in a relationship with someone else, it's too late for me…"

Amy leaped over to her friend and hugged her close. "OH CREAM!" she cried, hugging her even tighter. "It's NEVER too LATE FOR LOVE!"

The rabbit shrieked in a high pitched squeal. "Amy...You're...CRUSHING ME!"

"Oops! Sorry!" she giggled, letting go of her friend. The rabbit rubbed her body, making sure there was no broken bones before glaring at Amy. The hedgehog sweatdropped. "I'm basically saying, do what I do."

Cream's eyes narrowed. "Stalking and chasing after him until your legs fall off then when you're in a wheelchair just scoot after him instead?"

Amy rolled her eyes and laughed. "Oh silly Cream, THAT'S the last resort! The first thing you have to do is find out both of their weaknesses then use them to your advantage. Then you see if things go your way, if they do GREAT!"

"What if you don't?" Cream asked, putting her right hand to her cheek in curiosity. Amy put her hands behind her back.

"Well, you MIGHT have to get your hands a bit dirty."

Cream nodded, taking the last little bit of notes down in her notebook before folding the edge of the page. She then closed it before turning back to Amy. "Thanks Amy! I'll talk to you later!"

"Bye Cream!" Amy waved, as the rabbit made her way out the house and down the street to her home. Once she got there she raced up the steps and into her room. She closed the door and skimmed through her nearby closet and found a pretty yellow dress.

She had a date to stalk.
