Kriss and Maxon's wedding day short.

I was not chosen that day instead Kriss was. I went to Italy and fell in love with Nicollet's brother Nathen. Kriss and Maxon took forever to set a date for their wedding, in that time I got engaged to Nathen.

Today was the wedding.

I wasn't nervous or anxious that I would see someone marry Maxon. I was happy for Kriss and I love Nathen I loved Maxon. I was over Aspen and Maxon.

Maxon kept on glancing at me before the wedding and during the start of the wedding. I know he want to marry me, but both of us made stupid mistakes and we can't change anything now. There is no more Maxon and America.

Everything went smoothly till the "I do's"

Kriss said "I do" now it was Maxon who has to say it.

"I can't" he said and looked at me. I was furious. I stood up.

"Maxon Schieve get outside right this second." And I stormed out of the chapel. He followed. Everyone was shocked. I think King Clarkson wanted to do the same but I beat him to it.

"America I still love you." He said

"No Maxon it's too late now, you can't do anything about it." I said loud but not that the people could hear

"I can-."

"No you can't. Both of us made stupid mistakes and this one is unfixable." I said and he sighed.

"Maxon I loved you so much but now I love Nathen, you can't ruin my relationship with him."

"I did think about that."

"You only thought about yourself, you never thought. Oh America says it's not what it looks like. Oh Aspen tripped that's why he got so close to me. It could have ended differently."

"I know and I'm sorry."

"Sorry won't fix this Maxon, Kriss is in there ready to marry someone she loves and you love her too just not the same as me. Learn to love her the same."

"I can't, I can only love you that way."

"No you will. Go in there put on that fake smile you told me to put on the day you chose Kriss. Go apologize to Kriss and if I dare see you drop that smile."

He nodded regretting saying those words to me that day.

"You will love Kriss not me. You will smile. You will marry Kriss today and you will stay true to your marriage till the day one of you stop breathing."

He nodded

"Did I make myself extremely clear?"

"Yes."

I turned around and walked back in and sat down. He walked in after me.

"Sorry my dear I was a bit of nervous but I got a good yelling." He said while smiling, it was fake but he smiled.

"Yelling?" She said

"Yes, but I'm fine now and I'm ready to become your husband."

She turned to me and mouthed "Thank you."

I smiled and kissed Nathen.
