Hi everyone, tr1ckydr1v3r here. I felt that a lot of questions that are important to people have not been answered yet in the story. While some of those questions will be answered in due time, others I feel would just have no bearing on the main goings on for the story at the moment. So without further ado, it's time for a bit of Q&A regarding this story.
One extra note: I have left some things ambiguous to prevent future spoilers, but unless you've read up to Chapter 28: The Tournament, do not read any further.
Q: Where are Donald and Goofy?
A: I purposely left them out. Right from the start I wanted this to be a serious fiction regarding the world of Kingdom Hearts. To that, end I tried to think of a way to implement Donald and Goofy in a minor way for the story, as I felt I couldn't do them justice in such a serious fiction. I know, it's been done before (check out The Third Epic by LordCavendish to see it done with finesse) but I'm just not that good a writer. I mean, I have the future of the story planned out already in my head but I have no idea what will happen next, nearly everything is on the spot written, all in one go. So as of writing this, I haven't made any plans to get them in the story, and the same goes for Mickey, unfortunately.
Q: Why did you kill off your OC (Sophie) so soon?
A: I found it hard trying to keep 5 people (Sora, Riku, Cloud, Sophie, and a World Exclusive Character) going at one without myself wondering 'How am I going to keep control with these people? I'll lose control!' Again, I know it's possible to manage way more, but I am still getting good with the whole writing thing. As for those of you who thought I was a bit brutal killing her, what can I say, I'm full of surprises.
Q: Why can't you speed up if you're barely writing more than a few pages each time?
A: Cause I SUCK. Oh, and be patient.
Q: You just forgot to write Sophie in on Chapter 17, didn't you?
A: Truth be told, yes, I did completely forget I had an OC at the time. So I rushed to write her in on the next chapter.
Q: Why did you start writing this fiction?
A: I have always been intrigued by vampires. Love reading vampire fics on this website and seeing pics of them that people have drawn. I also enjoy Kingdom Hearts. So I searched for some vampire fics involving the game. Lo and behold, I found quite a few, but not a lot of them were that good, and most of the good one involved the somewhat controversial (if real) relationship between Sora and Riku. Most were Alternate Universe fics, meaning they had absolutely no connections to the games whatsoever except with the characters. Eventually I just decided to go and make my own.
Q: Will you ever make more stories like these?
A: Never say never.
Q: What happened to Broken Will, Stronger Heart?
A: Like Unbreakable Cure, it was a spur of the moment thing, only it didn't last like UC did. I still have it in my documents, but unless I get some more time, I doubt I'll get back to it, let alone re-upload the first chapter. If you really want it back up, let me know, but be warned; I have no plans to continue it at the moment.
Q: You have the future of this story planned out? What's it like?
A: GOOD GAIS, BAD GAIS, AND EXPLOSIONS! With added vampires.
