"I think I need a human minute", I whispered against Edward's chest. He growled silently and loosened his arm around my body. "Sorry, I did not have a shower today before getting in bed", as you carried me straight into the bedroom after dinner, not that I regret, to burn some calories. I thought, actually I am glad that Edward is happy and can see it is safe to sleep with me.
"Don't worry" he replied, kissing my forehead. "I will wait"
I got out of bed, naked, bare feet and slowly walked towards the truck with my toiletry bag. I could feel Edward's eyes pouring into my back. I stopped a halfway towards the truck and turned to face Edward, only to be dazzled. I could see the slight disappointment in his eyes. "Do you want to join me?" I asked trying to keep my tone flat and casual although my heart was thumping, at the thought, which would have given me away, like our first night here, in the water, only he invited me.
His face lit, and the uneven crooked smile appeared "sure, guess I could use a shower too" and he was beside me, in less than a second.
We walked to the bathroom, abandoning the truck, what was the point in getting anything to wear, if I was with him
"Do you want to take a bath?" he asked, I just smiled and then went to clean my teeth, which too I did not have time for earlier.
When I finished I went to join him in the bath, pulling the shower curtain behind me. We sat across each other for a while, before I went and sat in his perfect, statue lap.

Then we had a shower, snuggling to each other and came out covered in two towels and hand on each others waist.
"Now are you ready to sleep?", he asked with his ice cold tongue tracing my lower lip. " sure" I replied, returning his kiss and getting hotter and heart beats accelerating as his hand slid over the towel, before pulling it off my body. I took his towel off as well and soon we were back in bed in superhuman speed with Edward under me and kissing my neck while I took in some gasps of air.
All I could feel around me was Edward, nothing else.
