His First Great Adventure!

"MUM!" Lily Potter called, scrambling into the room where her mother and father sat on the couch, "MU-UM!!!" Ginny Potter looked up from where she sat reading the Daily Prophet. Harry Potter looked over too and smiled lightly at his daughter's enthusiasm. She started running around the room, "Al mailed a letter! Al mailed a letter! Al mailed a letter!" she exclaimed in a sing-song voice. She giggled as her father caught her around the waist and swung her up.
"Well, let's see what it says shall we?" Ginny asked, rolling her eyes, but grinning slightly. She plucked the letter from her daughter's grasp as Harry startled to tickle Lily, "Alright." She said, "cease and desist you two." She said with a smile, ruffling Harry's already messy head of hair. He smiled and swooped his daughter back on the ground.
Dear Mum, Dad and Lily,
I'm finally settled in here in the Ravenclaw dorms. It's sort of strange not to see the red and gold that we always see around the house, plus the extra pressure of everyone in our family EVER have been in Gryffindor. But, I'm settled in now. I've even made some friends, like Dillon Boot, in my year. He's really nice. \
Surprisingly, "James hasn't given me much grief about the whole 'Ravenclaw' thing. Has he written to you yet? I figured he might have told you what happened already, but still I'll write it for you.
Dillon and I were attacked by a car!
Seriously! We were throwing around a fanged Frisbee, and then it landed in the woods. So we went to go grab it, and we accidentally went into the forest a little, itty-bitty to far, and we got lost on our way back. Dillon and I kept trying to do that wand compass-pointer thing, but it wouldn't work. We just got more lost!
So we started just wandering around, when all of the sudden- this HUGE blue car came rolling towards us. We were just staring at it, and the headlight things flickered on and a roar from the engine came. It started to steam at the back a bit, and then it came FLYING at us! I really thought it stayed in the air for a bit!!
We ran like bats out of a cage once it came charging towards us, as you can probably guess. And then, we ended up just beside Hagrid's hut! The car honked at the two of us again, then turned tail-light and drove back into the heart of the forest- maybe it has a little car family in there? Anyway Dillon and I ran back up to the castle, and straight to the library.
But, sadly enough, we couldn't find anything on flying cars in the library! (Though we did practice the wand compass spell) I asked Uncle Neville about it and he just said I should ask Dad. So, I'm asking.
Ben Wood's owl keeps leering at me (I'm borrowing his because James is using Cocoa for some reason) so I'll end it now.
Hi Lily, stop whining!
Love,
Al
Harry was grinning, Ginny turned to him, one copper eyebrow raised on her forehead, "You are totally proud of him for going wandering in the forest, aren't you!" she exclaimed, Harry feverantly shook his head.
"No, NO! I'm not." He exclaimed in defense, turning away from Ginny slightly
"Muuuuum, Dad's smirking!" Lily sang out.
"Harry!"
"What? I'm not proud of him." Harry said in defense. Ginny rolled her eyes, but smiled and ruffled his hair again.
"Whatever seeker-man, Come on Lil', how about you help me set the table?" Lily grinned up at her mom.
"Okay!" Lily said happily, skipping after her mother.
Harry looked back at the letter as Ginny and Lily went into the kitchen. He grinned quietly to himself, "Good adventure, Al." he said with another great smile.
A/N: Okay, so not as fluffy or even NEAR as long as "Okay" but I am still pretty happy with it, it's just meant to be a short letter from Albus to his parents, and then I just added the other stuff on. :3
