The front door closed to the home of the Logans. Garfield Logan formally known as Beast Boy and Changeling was sprawled on the family room couch. The palms of his hands were over his eyes. His wife Raven folded her arms.

"Okay… What happened?" She asked flatly.

The green man's ears twitched. "Oh, you're home!" He said restlessly. "I have a bone to pick with you."

"What?" His wife asked evenly.

"I'm mad at you for something you said to me."

"And that is…?"

"Let's have another baby." Garfield sat up. "It was a long time ago. We ended up with two."

"How could I forget? As I recall, I gave birth to both twins…traditionally. What happened while I was away? Jace, Rin and Shadou gave you trouble?"

"The boy is fine! We keep the boy! The girls, with your permission, I would like to send off to a remote land somewhere."

"We'll explore that option later. Explain…" She knew her husband was not serious, but their twin daughters, Shadou and Rin, were now 13 years old and were still experiencing puberty which was a touchy subject for any father with daughters.

"Well, the girls are now women, if you get my drift."

Raven's eyes opened wider. "Oh? Are they okay?"

"I think I broke our daughters; nothing is fine. They won't leave their room."

"What did you do?"

"Well…you know from experience that my nose knows a lot. I smelled when it happened while you were at the school, teaching class. By the way, this whole becoming-a-woman thing happened at the same time with both girls. So…as their dad, I tried to do something about it. I called both of them downstairs. Fetched the feminine products from our bedroom and said: 'Hey, girls! Congratulations on now becoming women. I figured you needed these…' Then…"

"Oh…Gar…" Raven groaned. "You went to them; they didn't come to you?"

"It's not like I shouted it from a bull horn! I'm now learning that was a big mistake! They both shrieked, hurting further my already super sensitive ears and they went into Rin's bedroom."

"And they haven't been out since," Raven concluded.

"I tried knocking to get them out. They said: "Go away, Dad!"

"Well, at least they're still alive up there." Raven sighed. "I'll fix it."

"How? How do you fix something like this? They hate me now!"

"Well, I can tell you for a fact that I'm not sensing any hate from upstairs. It's more like…embarrassment."

"This is complicated. You and Star weren't like this as teens…"

Raven stared, annoyed.

"Okay, maybe you were." Garfield heaved a heavy sigh. "Will they ever talk to me again?"

Give it a couple days. They should be fine." She began to walk towards the stairs. "I'll talk to them. And, Gar?"

Yeah?" The green man perked up.

"Next time, play dumb."

"No problem! I'm great at doing that!" He gave her a large grin.

His wife then continued up the stairs to do damage control on their daughters., shaking her head hopelessly.
