For the Seasons Inspired Challenge – Bouquet made out of handpicked flowers!
For the School of Prompts – 2.2: purple
Note: Teddy and Victoire are my babies, my cute, little, oblivious babies *squeals*
The grounds of Hogwarts were filled with various flowers, all from different colours, all from different sizes, and for some bloody reason, all those freaking plants reminded Teddy of Victoire.
Maybe it was the way her hair flowed like the petals of the daisies, or that her eyes were the colour of the sages, or that her lips were the colours of the roses, or that Teddy was so in love, everyone in the castle knew about it except the girl he practically worshipped. Hell, even McGonagall had given him love advice, and if that was not weird, then he didn't know what was.
Teddy walked around the fresh grass hills, his hair a pale purple colour, mimicking that of those lavender flowers Victoire loved.
He watched the flowers, their colours, their textures, and their sizes, and suddenly came up with an amazing idea. He would make a flower bouquet for the blonde witch!
The flower bushes called him, eager to be chosen for the wonderful task.
"What to choose… what to choose…" he muttered to himself. Teddy took a flower from every bush he could see, and after gathering around twenty or so, he decided he was finished picking the flowers.
He then put them all together and transfigured a patch of grass into a ribbon, which he used to tie the flowers together in a very beautiful manner Victoire was sure to like.
Satisfied with his work, Teddy set off to the Great Hall, where Victoire was supposed to be as it was almost lunch. He skipped anxiously until he reached the gigantic wooden doors. Glancing around, he noticed the distinctive bright blonde hair in the Ravenclaw table, and he approached with care.
The Ravenclaw table was as busy as it could get, but Teddy had already spotted Victoire, so it wasn't really difficult for him to walk to her seat. He also had the help of fellow students who had made way for him, also giving him a dramatic arrival.
Victoire had also given in to the spring spirit, along with many other girls around the school. Her hair was adorned with beautiful purple flowers called Camellias, but Teddy hadn't really known that.
Before formally getting her attention he hid the bouquet on his back with one hand, and with the other he poked the witch's shoulder.
The blonde turned, and raised her eyebrows in surprise when she saw Teddy.
"Hey Teddy!" she greeted with surprise, "What are you doing here?"
Teddy kept his cool, but he was internally fainting. "Hullo, Vic. I just wanted to give you this," he said as he took the bouquet from 'hiding' and gave it to her.
Someone from the Gryffindor table cat-called, a Ravenclaw girl besides Victoire cooed, and the girl herself smiled up to Teddy.
"Thank you, Teddy, I really like these," she said referring to the flowers, "they do set a mood I really feel comfortable with,"
Teddy's cheeks flushed. "You're welcome,"
"Oh, I'm grateful," Victoire smiled and slightly blushed, "thanks, again,"
Teddy nodded and went over to the Hufflepuff table, his House, to eat with his fellow Puffs, but not before he heard the collective groan of the entire student body and some professors.
"What?" called both Victoire and Teddy obliviously, making some laugh.
