Here was the original Title and Summary before I had to shorten it:

Twelve Steps of Insanity: The Breakdown of a Big, Bad Wolf

Summary: Leah steps into the velvety darkness, something she hasn't seen in months and blinks rapidly as her eyes adjust to her surroundings. In 360,004 seconds from the time she knocks on Emily Young's front door she will wish with her entire being that she had not taken her supernatural abilities for granted.

Its different than other stories on here, but I hope it entertains you nonetheless.

III. Leah wakes with a sharp pain in her stomach. Rolling over, she clutches herself, her nails clawing through the thin fabric of her t-shirt, digging into the skin. She grits her teeth against the pain and her tears drip onto the lavender sheets. The pain lasts a minute before receding.

Sitting up in a panic she places her head on her knees and clutches her calves with her hands. She hasn't felt a cramp like this in several months. As a matter of fact, she hasn't felt any kind of bodily produced pain in several months, the reason being her supernatural healing abilities and strength keep her youthful cells in perfect condition.

After taking several deep breaths, she stands up and walks slowly to her bedroom door. She doesn't hear any signs of life in the house; breathing, heartbeat, or movement. She turns the knob and walks to the end of the dark hallway, pausing by the bathroom door.

She doesn't know why she feels so nervous, but the goose bumps and her erratic heartbeat would give her away to anyone with increased senses.

Leah kneels in front of the toilet and clamps her lips together against the sudden wave of nausea that assaults her. She sputters into the toilet, the clear saliva dripping. Wiping the back of her dark hand across her lips and forehead, she notices a thin sheen of sweat. The flushing toilet whirrs loudly in her ears, pounding against her headache, the steady throbbing at the top of her head and temples building.

After rinsing her mouth and brushing her teeth vigorously with water (the toothpaste only increases her nausea), Leah feels a slight tickle on the inside of her nostrils before she sneezes massively and the contents attach themselves to the mirror. Her eyes stream and she continues sneezing, which continue increasing her throbbing headache.

After only three minutes and 24 seconds of this, Leah becomes overwhelmed by her senses as the light shining from the mirror becomes blindingly bright and sharp against her retinas, and the noise from the pipes and refrigerator expand her ear drum.

She stumbles to the bathtub and after turning on the faucet using mostly hot water, she flips off the light. Her goose bumps remain as her body's temperature drops from 108.9 to 106, 104, 100, 98, 95, 90, 87, and eventually 84 degrees Fahrenheit. The hot bath blankets her freezing body and she twitches and shakes violently as the warmth slows her shivering.

Leah holds all but her face underwater, closing her eyes and willing the pain to go away. It will be 83 minutes of continuously adding hot water and submerging before her senses are dulled to average human capabilities and her headache and hypothermia fade.

Leah does not know what is happening to her as she lies under the water, eyes tightly shut and hands clasped in typical prayer fashion over her sculpted stomach, but Quil Sr., who lives 0.5 miles away, would recognize these symptoms immediately.
