Azula silently pressed her index finger and thumb to the candle wick. It instantly bloomed into a free blaze. She silently stirred her long fingers in a gentle way. The flame grew and shrank. She tensed up her fingers and the fire crackled. She took a deep breath and blew on the flame. It flickered, and threatened to die out, but Azula knew it wouldn't. Instead, it became cerulean, and grew to twice it's size.
Azula concentrated on the flame, memorizing every shade of orange, yellow, red, and blue. Studying the perfect flairs, that bloomed from the onyx strand. Again, she softened her hand movements, and it sank into a perfect pattern of up, down, up, down. Blue, white, orange, blue, white, orange. It was so beautiful. She twisted her hands around and around, making the flame circle and fly in separate directions. As if, all of the different petals of the flame had separate minds, all hoping to get the fire as a whole to move the direction they desired.
A single drop of liquid wax streaked the slender candle's side. Azula's eyes followed the thickest part of the perfectly fuchsia trail. Everywhere the wax flowed it left a shiny line that hardened instantly. For that moment, Azula prayed she were a wax bender instead. But, she immediately brushed off the thought.
Azula squeezed her fingers around the flame, even though she never touched it. Instead, she concentrated it until the flair was so compact. In a single movement, she made a fist around where the flame was, and it disappeared. An intoxicating aroma filled the small room. A perfect ebony puff winded throughout the air. It was Azula's favorite scent.
For Azula, fire was a play thing. However, she still respected it. She knew she was just it's humble guide.
A/N I don't like this story, it makes Azula sound…. Like a shallow character, like she's from a kid's show. Like, Hannah Montana or Pokemon. It makes Azula sound like she's some sort of happy person, when I was aiming to make her sound like a fire hoar…. (I don't know how you spell that) PLEASE REVIEW! I accept flames! :) lol flames:)
