Hi, this is my first story about teen wolf.
I love Stiles and Lydia together, so I decided to translate into English my shortest story about them. I'm sorry if there are some mistakes, because English is not my native language.
Hope you like it. Let me know if you liked it.
Red line means unsolved
What the red wire mean?
Stiles said that it means unsolved.
Unsolved. Lydia repeats this word in her head, as if she is playing a perverse game where she seems to want to hurt herself.
That word echoes from a wall to another one of her brain, goes down to her throat, screeches against her vocal cords.
Lydia wants to scream.
Unsolved just like her. Without any sense, any value, suspended in the void, without any certainties. A loss of time, to sum up.
She failed. What did she want to do? Maybe she believed that she was invincible? She seriously thought that she would manage to solve this mess, with her powers? And then, what kind of powers are these? How can you define it "power"?
To hear an incessant, undefinable buzz, to scream suddenly, to find out that you are in a place without knowing how you reached it.
These are not powers.
Lydia rolls up the red string around her fingers. She tightens it so firmly that the circulation of the blood begins to slow, her skin becomes diaphanous and the pressure of the string starts to be painful. It doesn't matter.
What the red wire mean, Stiles?
Unsolved. It means unsolved. And Lydia thinks that this adjective perfectly fits to her.
When Stiles rolls out the red string e lets her porcelain skin breathe, Lydia feels something that squeaks near her vocal cords.
Stiles looks her with a mix of tenderness and impotence in his eyes.
Lydia would like to cry. However, she doesn't want to seem more vulnerable than what she is.
Lydia would like to say thanks. However, only opening her mouth could make her burst in tears.
Because Stiles – at least him, surprisingly him – doesn't consider Lydia an unsolved case. Not yet. And because he has a green marking pen in his hand, and Lydia doesn't understand if it is just a coincidence or not. But green… the green string… Stiles said that it means solved, didn't he?
