The prompt was "crest." I don't own NCIS. Enjoy!

He was breathing heavily, slowing down his pace. The senior field agent reached out for something to lean against, and his hand rested against the rock. DiNozzo was doubled over, practically gasping for breath.

"Come on, Tony," Ziva said, slowing down her pace by a fraction. "We are almost to the crest. You can make it."

"No, I can't l, Ziva," he panted, taking a drink from the water bottle that he was holding in his hand.

"Stop being such a baby. Diamond Head is only three-quarters of a mile long; it said so on the sign before we started climbing. It is not that far, Tony," she scolded slightly, glaring at him.

Standing up straight, Tony looked at her. "I am not being a baby, Ziva. This is difficult because it is all uphill," he explained.

"Of course it is all uphill, Tony! Diamond Head is a crater! What did you expect it be? Easy?" Ziva exclaimed, looking at him. Then, without waiting for him to reply, she turned on her heel and started to head towards the top again.

Groaning, the senior field agent took another drink of water before following Ziva up the crater once more. "Ziva, we are supposed to be on vacation," he complained a few minutes later.

"We are on vacation, Tony."

"This is not a vacation! The definition of vacation is relaxing. This is not relaxing."

Ziva stopped and turned to look at him, daggers flashing in her eyes. "We are in Hawaii, Tony. This state is not just beaches. I told you, Diamond Head is only three-quarters of a mile; I think you can handle this trek. Now will you stop complaining?" she snapped.

DiNozzo held up his hands in defeat. "Fine, fine, fine. I'll stop complaining. Just promise me that we will go to The Counter afterwards to get some burgers," he replied.

Rolling her eyes, Ziva said, "Fine. But this is the last time we go to that restaurant. Just because some actor owns it does not mean he must charge twenty-five dollars for a burger."

"But they're really good!"

She rolled her eyes again and turned, walking up the last couple of minutes to the top of the crater. Tony followed slowly behind her, breathing heavily. This exercise was not fun for him.

By the time they reached the top, Tony was out of breath again and Ziva was looking at him, rolling her eyes. "Tony, drink your water and then come over here," she said, standing by one of the rails.

The senior field agent did as he was told and then walked over to Ziva, standing behind her and wrapping his arm around her waist.

"This is beautiful," she murmured, staring out over Waikiki.

"You're beautiful," he murmured gently in her ear, kissing her neck.

Ziva leaned back into his body, fitting there like a puzzle piece. She sighed and stared out at the ocean.

Tony took her left hand, playing with the diamond ring that was on her finger.

Ziva smiled to herself and then she turned around to face Tony. Placing a hand on his cheek, she kissed his lips gently.

"I love you, Tony," she murmured after slowly pulling away.

"I love you too, Ziva."
