Deathly Desires

"Well Draco, you've taken my wand. I know you must kill me but you have no heart to do so." Dumbledore smiled happily.
"I do! I will kill you!" Draco huffed. He knew it all along. He didn't have the heart to be a Death Eater. He never wanted anything to do with Voldemort at all but he couldn't control his own actions. He had to do it. Otherwise... his family would die.
Draco felt tears spring in his eyes. He couldn't do it. He shouldn't do it. And yet he was in no position to make choices. He had to follow his orders...
Draco looked slowly to Dumbledore and pointed his wand at him. He still couldn't do it. He was trembling and his focus was distant. He had no choice... he had to do what he had to do.
"I can help you Draco..." Dumbledore said softly.
"No. You've said your last word. Now prepare for your death." Draco said coldly.
"As you wish." Dumbledore nodded. Draco closed his eyes and remembered the horrible man who was making him do this. He opened his eyes and fixed his wand onto Dumbledore's wrinkled face.
"Arvada-"
"Noooo!" Screamed a girl's voice. It was Hermione. She had saved him from doing something horrible. He couldn't help but feel in her debt.
"Hermione I-" He started.
"No Draco. I will not let you do this!" Hermione screamed at him.
"Do you honestly think-"
"Yes Draco I do you selfish bastard!" She interrupted.
"But-"
"No excuses. You're lucky I came in time.." Hermione hissed. Draco threw his wand to the ground and yelled.
"Do you think I want to kill Dumbledore? Do you think I want to be a Death Eater? I have to do this Hermione. He'll kill my family.." Draco sobbed.
"Draco I didn't realise how this would reflect on you..." Hermione said with tears in her eyes.
"Why would you care?" Draco scoffed.
"I knew you had a good heart. I could just tell.." Hermione said soothingly and patted him on the shoulder.
"Go away." He muttered.
"I was only trying to help!" Hermione protested.
"I don't need it you stupid Mud-Blood!" He yelled.
"Stop calling me that you stupid white ferret!" Hermione screamed.
"I will if you will." Draco hissed.
"I curse the day I laid eyes on you Malfoy." Hermione said through gritted teeth.
"I curse the day you came to Hogwarts." He retaliated.
"I curse the day you were born!"
"I curse the day you were born!" Draco mimicked.
"Stop copying me!"
"I'm not copying you!"
"I hate you!"
"I love you!"
"I.... what?" Hermione scoffed.
"I... nothing." Draco blushed.
"You said you loved me." Hermione spluttered.
"No I didn't." Draco lied.
"Don't lie to me." Hermione ordered.
"I... love... you!" Draco said slowly and kissed her on the lips.
