I remember when I first met her, with her hair cropped like a boy's hair would be. Her dreamer's hazel eyes peered out through long lashes, and I remember becoming her sponsor, to teach her in the ways to became a great page, just like myself, Neal of Queenscove. (Dom, don't even bother with my real name. Your mom is my least favorite aunt.)

Neal, I remember when I first met her. She looked stunning in Goldenlake colors, riding that crazy gelding of hers. After a while, I remember the Own going to a town that was taken by raiders and centaurs. She was on sentry duty, and I remember her finding a centaur to fight on her own. (Wonder how she manages to find trouble like that.)She got that darned griffon on her own, too. Now, that was crazy. (Nealan, how could you admit that my very own mother is your least favorite?)

(I don't agree with you much, Dom, but Peachblossom is the craziest horse I could of ever met.) I remember walking her to the dining hall. She was wearing a dress, how could that help her in the bit. She was quiet at first, me and her were given so much room at the dining table we were sitting at. Then, out of the blue, she tells me to eat my vegetables! She was acting like my own mother, there. I remember when we would scout the hallways together, looking for Joren and his cronies. Ahh. . . Good times. Beating up older pages and getting punishment work from the Stump. (Dom, how could you say that? She threatened to drown me!)

That griffon was all trouble! Even she hated it, although I think she grew to care for it. (How could she? Monster.) When Daine took it away, I hoped she would be alright. I think she and that little monster were getting attached, scary huh? Then, I remember coming back to the palace with her. Raoul and her started to joust. (How did she live?) She started to enter in tournaments and was winning more then losing. I was so proud. (Neal, she didn't try to drown you, just knock some sense into you. You need more common sense.)

(Common sense? Is that really what I need?) I remember when she was at my ordeal. We were both scared, for ourselves and each other. Thankfully, we both made it out alive. I was so proud of her when she was knighted in front of everyone. New Hope was different for both of us. It brought us more together, I think. She was the knight and I was the healer. And, she introduced me to the lovely Yuki, who is my bride. Ahh. . . She is as glorious as a sunset, with all her colors turning into lovelier hues. . .

(Yes, my dear cousin, common sense. And stop day-dreaming about Yuki. We're not discussing her.) I remember her ordeal. I was thankful she made it out alive. At New Hope, I was in charge of her patrols for a while. I really didn't want to leave, I couldn't leave her. And then, I said just four words. Will you marry me? And she replied, Yes. We are together, bond for forever. . .

Dom? Neal! What are you doing her, discussing me! I thought I put you on patrol Dom, and Neal, you're supposed to be in the healer's wing! Get moving! I can't run New Hope alone!

Sorry Mother-, I mean Kel. I'll get to the healer's wing. (Dom, you talked too loud!)

Kel! You can let go of my ear! (Meathead! It was you!)

That's it! Extra vegetables for both of you tonight! I mean it!

DOM!

MEATHEAD!

That was just to relive my writer's block. I'm currently working on chapter four of Alanna: Finding the Warrior's Way.
